Easy to find when wandering Nin . Free to enter what is deemed the smallest cathedral . You can’t help but be in awe when stood inside in the silence contemplating the many hundreds of years it has: stood, and the significance through the ages .

This church is located in a beautiful ground full of old roman antiques stones.
The space is open and free to entre.

The church is very old dated IX century.
In a sunny day like in the picture the place is fantastic to enjoy.

Around there there is a small museo worth it to enter.

Cute, quaint church! Open most of the day. No guards or other personnel there. You just walk in. Absolutely serene and quiet. Most adorable thing ever! Definitely worth a visit just because!

We cycled from Zadar to Nin, and this little church was on a way. We decided to stop by, and I'm glad we did! Its beautiful, and has a amazing history to it, as it was the smallest cathedral.

The church of the Holy Cross is (used to be?) the smallest cathedral. As I found out in the arheological museum in Zadar, there was an even smaller cathedral which doesn't exist anymore.
This church is very nice, placed in the small town of Nin, surrounding with ancient walls. The only bad thing about this church is the current condition. It would be great if the church is more preserved. There is no entrance fee, but if there would be a fee, for example, of 10 knuas (cca 1,50 €), it would be enough to preserve the church better.

It may be the smallest cathedral but it is so small yet so lovely that it is hard not be impressed by its simplicity.
The building looks so cute fom the outside on its own set inside a field of what appears to be roman remains. Inside unfortunately it is bare. Just walk in and around - it is free.
Worth a visit.

Beautiful surroundings and fun to see the small cathedral. There is no information nearby, but you can go inside.

Just a wonderful little building in a wonderful location. Ok, there might not much be much to see inside - but it's the setting and the chill factor of this little island village steeped in history and blessed with great views that makes it all worth it.
