The excursion starts from hotel in Zadar. The ride to Pag takes about 1 hour. During this excursion to the island of Pag, your local guide will explain you the history of this island and its center that has an archaeological site with ruins. After some free time we will continue towards Gligora Dairy, 20 minutes away from Pag center. During the tour you will learn about the cheese production, see ageing room and you will taste various Gligora cheeses. After 1 hour ride, we will make stop in a small town of Nin for a visit of Nin Saltworks. You will walk along the salt pools with an expert guide. Transfer back to Zadar (around 20 minutes).

This place still under renovation Is very picturesque and leads to the old town l, all is made in stone. Around there you can find some cafes and restaurants be aware some of them might not accept credit cards. I found it very nice to seat in the terrace of the restaurants

We stay one day and one night at Nin. The beach close to Ninska Laguna is overcrowded. A guidebook (LP) directed us to a nice restaurant in Zaton; the place is charmless, it’s a camping city, with no atmosphere, and for the return taximan are proper rip-off. We paid 150 kuna for

Nin is situated in a lagoon, surrounded by natural sandy beaches and linked with the mainland by two stone bridges from the 16th century. In 2017 it was hit by a disastrous flood.
