We loved and were very impressed by this waterfall, and glad we had the opportunity to see it. I reviewed the entire Krka NP experience as a whole in that entry, but to repeat a little, we felt our visit was well worth it, especially given that we visited later in the day in May, when it was busy but not crowded and entrance was only €15. We also knew before we went that swimming was no longer allowed. The waterfall (or set of cascades, however it's defined) is very beautiful, and the boardwalk/bridge is placed such that you get wonderful perspective on it and allows for great photos. I think this singular view was slightly better than any one view/waterfall we saw at Plitvice Lakes during our visit the following day, although I would call the lakes a more impressive experience than Krka when viewed overall.

i thought this waterfalls and the way the boardwalk is set up is more amazing than Plitvice Lakes NP, but i guess each has its own charm. it reminds me a little of iguazu. there is also way more water and greenery at Skradinski Buk in March, compared to the waterfalls at Plitvice, so that may have impacted my overall impression too Use the Lozovac entrance as access. the entrance ticket is 7 euros, and you then walk 875 m downhill to the start of boardwalk. alternatively, you can ride the park bus down and up. i cant even imagine the trash and pollution that results from people swimming all over the place. best decision ever to ban swimming

Lovely and totally different experience than Plitvice NP. Don't skip the mill. Picnic beside it even! You cannot swim here and it would ruin the experience if they allowed swimming, so don't complain, as many reviewers did. Do both this and Plitvice and do the rest of Krka NP, that is a hidden gem! For those late-birds, like us, pay attention to last bus time, you do not want to walk back to the parking lot, it's way too steep!

I and friends to chartered a sailboat out of and back into Skradin. Upon our return, we took the short ferry from Skradin to the Skradinski Buk Waterfall. We all thought this was just something to do to kill time and a typical touristy thing to do. We were very wrong. It's a pleasant 20 min ferry to the dock at the falls and a short walk to see the base of the falls. Spectacular! Not hugely tall and roaring, but amazing. Walk on the boardwalk that slowly climbs alongside of the falls to where it seems it's the top. Go around the building to see a late 1800s water turbine. We thought that was the end. No! Go up the stairs, more stairs, more stairs to see the old infrastructure of the mills. Then walk along the boardwalk that meanders through the top level of where the falls start. Little falls are everywhere. Crystal clear water- fish, frogs, and wind your way back down to the base. These falls are the most beautiful I have ever seen. My buddies agree.
