This is the most famous and most visited shrine of the Mother of God in Croatia. Beautiful interior, as well as the exterior of the church, especially that of the entrance to the church. Be sure to visit if you find yourself in this sanctuary.

I believe if you are religious you will love this place. The church is located in the hill with beautiful views to the country side. Inside is very peaceful and calm. I love the way that they have some holy water labeled to take away home. Candles cost 4 kunas The nativity was so beautiful. The architecture is so lovely I did not play attention if you have access for disabled people since the church has lots of stairs to claim …

The church and the area surrounding it have a calm vibe, but basically it can be interesting only for religious people. There are numerous stands selling religious stuff, but also some homemade products. We bought "medenjaci" (Croatian honey spice cookies) and "gvirc" (mead) which were very delicious.…

The shrine’s exterior and all around is harmonious and beautiful. Inside is quite simple which makes the Black Virgin to stand out even more. Behind the church all along the lateral walls quite interesting ex-votos representing several miracles. Enjoy!
