A friend and I rented road bikes for five days to explore the area around Makarska/Podgora/Igrane and to climb Sveti Jure. The bikes (with spare tires, tools etc) were delivered to our hotel in Igrane the night before our first ride. Excellent service! The bikes themselves are solid aluminum road bikes with tubeless tires and Shimano 105 components. They were in good condition and we were very happy with how they performed. Of course no pro bikes but more than enough for our, and probably most peoples, purposes.
In total we logged around 250k divided over three rides. I’ve cycled in Spain, several places in Greece and of course Sweden (my home country) and I can comfortably say that Croatia offers some of the best cycling I have experienced. Great roads, not a lot of traffic (and most drivers respect cyclists) and world class climbs.
All in all we had an awesome experience and I would definitely recommend cycling in Croatia and to rent bikes via Momentum in Makarska.

Fantastic service from these guys. I’d ordered a large EMTB for my friend (their communication is excellent by the way) but when we arrived they observed that my 6’4” friend was too big for the bike. Rather than let us take an unsuitable bike, they instantly organised a replacement XL frame, and even escorted us to the location where the bike was available. Really nice guys, first class service, excellent bike and can’t recommend them enough!

I organised to rent a road bike a month before my visit to climb Sv. Jure and was in constant communication with Petar via email who quickly provided me with all the information on what is included, pricing and collection. When I arrived in Makarska the staff at the bike rental shop were all very helpful (offering to adjust the bike if needed) and provided me with a helmet, lights and SPD pedals. The bike worked very well and I had a lovely ride up to the top of Sv. Jure. I would definitely recommend hiring a bike with them if you're planning to cycle around Makarska!

Petar and his family run Momentum. They have two garages chock full of every kind of bike under their living quarters. They’re an amazingly friendly family, Petar is instantly responsive via WhatsApp, the bikes are great and the prices are unbeatable. I came from California, road the truly epic Sveti Jure to the radio tower (top) twice, to Omiš, Split, all over. If you are going to be in/near Makarska and need a road (I had the Giant SL), mtn or electric bike, this is THE place to go!

Excellent service and useful tips from Ana for our bicycle trip to Biokovo Skywalk and Jure mountain peak. The bicycles were well maintained and Ana prepared them very nicely with eye for details. We could even testride the bicycles, a Bulls and a Cube, the day before. The views were amazing, the weather was wonderful, perfect for cycling, sunny, but not too hot, hardly any wind and little traffic on the road. Thanks to the "e" in "e-bike" the 34 km climbing to Jure via Skywalk was nearly effortless. It was when riding downhill that we realised how steep the route actually is. We did 90% of the trip in ECO or TOUR Mode, With only some bursts on e-MTB. And we managed even to get back to Ana's shop with some battery power left over, after a total trip of 7 hours out of which cycling 5,5hrs. It was a great bicycling day, thank you Ana for your friendliness, good care and top bikes. Sari and Xavier

I rented one road bike for three days. The service was very friendly and helpful. I had maps to Whatsapp with markings made for me about great bike roads that were off the beaten path and had very picturesque views.
The bike was well kept and reliable, nothing fancy but totally adequate companion for even long days and big hills. Rent included toolbox and helmet. The bike handled well even the descent from Sveti Juri and had enough gearings for quite steep 20% uphills and speedy 60+ km/h descents. I can easily recommend Momentum.

If you want to rent a bike, this is the only place to do this! :) Highly recommend e-bikes and most of all people who run this place. You will be well informed, served and you trip will be nothing but pure pleasure! Me and friend of mine went to Brac island with two e-bikes from Momentum. I must say that as I was very sceptical at the beginning (because I have never ride electrical bicycles before), after some time I just felt in love with my bike :D

A very friendly and helpful family run bike hire business. Open from first thing in the morning until late in the day, always were there to assist. We hired mountain bikes which we took on to Brac and had a fabulous day on the island going to the highest point and then hired e-bikes to take us to the Skywalk and up on to the top (Sveti Jure). Battery lasted all day with plenty to spare, despite a detour back via some coastal villages (eg Podgora).

Extremely profesional. Delivers quality bikes with the necessary tools to repair if needed (not in our case).
We had a 6 day-organised tour from Split to Makarska and on island of Brac. Bikes were delivered in all measures we gave in advance, so every member had a bike that fitted.
Momentum is a friendly and reliable partner.

We rented two ebikes for six days. We been many kilometers left and right down the coast, up to Biokovo and down with ease. Brakes are very good.
Very friendly staff, they gave us spare tires, locks, pump, phone holder, good route advise... Batteries and bikes are in very good condition.
Honest recomendation!
