About
This little church is one-nave, built in typical late Romanesque style. It was probably made from stones of the older church (early Christian basilica) that constructed at the same place. Exact construction date is unknown, it is estimated between 12th-16th century. The church is still used for masses in July, as an area tourist attraction.

Church(12st.) on the island of Kornat is surrounded by archaeological sites that partially reveal the history back to 3000 years ago.

Excursions to Kornati are expensive and long for the few things you get - not even good snorkelling. This church has nothing that would merit spending 5-10h on a crowded boat for 200-300kn.
