Beer Tasting & Peka Tour on Korcula Island

The experience starts with a short transfer to the island’s only craft brewery. Here we will see where the beer making process takes place, before sitting down to taste the brewery’s own beers, as well as a couple of Croatia’s top craft beer offerings. Our beer tasting will be accompanied by some well paired beer food!

Following our beer tasting, we will transfer to an agro-tourism restaurant, surrounded by home-grown vegetables, olive trees and beautiful vistas. Upon arriving we will be welcomed with a drink from our host and see where our dinner is being cooked amongst the burning embers. We'll provide an explanation of how the peka dish has been prepared. Our meal then starts with some delicious prsut ham and cheese before the flavoursome peka is served to the table, which we will enjoy family style along with the restaurant’s home produced wine.

Beautiful bike ride through olive groves and grapevines. End at 2 wineries with great wines and an even better view. Need to be comfortable on a bike. There are a few hills which you could always just walk up and it’s about a 7 mile ride.

Great afternoon of walking through olive and fog groves + vineyards with Rachael. I was the only person on the tour that day to travel slowdowns and so I received a personal tour from Rachael. Great tasting at two wineries and as you can see, I bought a bottle at each. (Although there was no pressure at all to do so.). Highly recommended.

My fiance and I did a fully day cycling tour with John and loved every second of it. We had so much fun riding through the island learning about its history and culture and sampling wines throughout. John is very knowledgeable and easy going and biking was a great way to see the island. We also checked out a locals beach that was absolutely gorgeous and fun too. Highly recommend as a great way to see Korcula!

A must do! We thoroughly enjoyed this bike tour, through places we would never have discovered otherwise. John was extremely welcoming and informative in a very relaxed way. Wonderful food and wine with stunning views. It was great to meet more local food and wine producers. The final sunset cycle was definitely a highlight. This is one of the best things we have done in Korčula. Hvala!

Hi Lucy, great news to read how much you enjoyed the experience. We do try and create tours that show places that so few travellers get to see, I'm glad you liked my relaxed style that's how I roll. Best regards, John

Great cycle and wines to be had! Ride is about hour and a half but only hour of cycling - couple of hills but otherwise really pleasant. You visit two wineries and was lovely to try the local grapes and some lovely bread, meats and cheeses at the last one! If you’re in Korcula I would highly recommend
