It takes a short hike down a narrow path to get to it, but that's part of the charm. This is a rocky (not sandy) beach that is really a private cove, with a small cafe/restaurant serving fresh fish.

Very nice and cosy beach with locals living on the end of it. Bit of a struggle going down/uphill if not in a physical ”okay” status.

Whilst on Hvar, we have taken a taxi boat to Mekićevica, bused it to Dubovica and hired a small boat for the day to go round many of the Pakleni Islands swimming areas. We haven’t visited probably 5% of the Hvar beaches but found this...More

Parked our scooters on the side of the road and hiked/walked down to this little stoney beach. Tiny little bar at the far end serves great mojitos. Water is cool and clear. Great for a refreshing break - not too crowded- likely due to the...More

Amazing beach, although there seems to be a guy in the house nearby the beach who plays loud classical music? I think it’s to drown out any party boats that come into the bay; that’s the only problem. We spent a whole day there and...More

The beach itself is pristine and the water is clear and lovely. Definitely bring a padded mat and some booties as the rocks are tough underfoot. Really enjoyed the entire atmosphere and especially appreciated the great banter with Ivek who runs the beach bar. Looking...More

Amazing clean sea, silent beach that is very hard to find in Hvar. You must walk for 5 minutes but it is worthy of walking. You can have coffee and lunch there. No shade so be sure to bring unbrella with you.

One of the most beautiful beaches I've been to, and I've been to quite a lot... an amazing place, beautiful, quite and isolated - simply heaven! There's a short climb to get there, but don;'t bother about it - we done it with 4 kids...More

Crystal clear sea, big beach and not so many people, must go when in Hvar, it is little bit tricky to arrive but worth it for sure.

Dubovica beach and village are part of a heaven on the earth. I am completely in love with this area of Island of Hvar.

You can sail directly to the beach and dock your boat there. If its a big one you should use one of the main harbors - in Hvar Town, Sucuraj or Zavala and then take a taxi from there. Hvar Town is the nearest.

Yes there are parking spaces on the bend in the road and then a path down to the beach that takes about 15 minutes
