We anchored in Dubovica for the night when we visited Hvar. This was a really very pretty cove. There were several little inlets in this cove. I was also impressed at how incredibly shelter this bay is. A perfect spot to anchor for the night.

Nice plaše to visit, the sea is very clean and the bar is also great. Just the path for reaching the beach could be a bit remade.

We visited Dubovica Beach when we were exploring the island on scooter. It was sign posted and there was space to park. Its just before the tunnel to Starigrad. The path is quite steep and rockey and I would recommend trainers. It only took about 10 mins to get up or down tho. The beach was lovely when we got... More

Good beach, but to access you have to descend ten minutes between stones. No sand, only stones at the beach

Such an amazing bay! There is a path leading to it if you walk there but you can also go there by boat. We enjoyed it. Locals told us the woods around it were burned down years ago..but you can see all growing back up again. I can picture this place in all its beauty within few years.

Out of town and off the beaten path. Well worth the walk. Take good walking boots and a padded beach mat....you need both. Enjoy the cleanest and clearest water on the Adriatic coast as the big boats can't get close. Well worth a visit but will need determination to get there ( and back ).

A beautiful pebble/rock beach, need to walk a bit from the parking but nothing serious. Heard stories about this place, so I finally got a chance to be there this year. Everything was true, you need to try seafood, wine and prosecco by barba Sime. Everything is homemade and tasty.

My wife and I visited Dubovica beach after reading the reviews on TA. We took the bus from Hvar, it takes roughly 15mins and then you have to walk down a gravel path for another 15mins to get down to the beach. We spent a couple of hours here and had an amazing lunch at the seafood restaurant by the... More

A beautiful pebble/rock beach about a 20-25 minute drive from Hvar. It isn't too hard to find parking, however its quite the hike to get down and back up - but it's all part of the adventure :) The beach wasn't too crowded when we went during the early afternoon. I would definitely recommend water shoes since the rocks/pebbles really... More

We rented a motorbike and finished the day here. Lovely beach, clear water and quite pebbly. I'd recommend bringing something soft to lie on. I got a pebble caught in my bum bum.
