We took a taxi boat over to the islands was dropped off then had a lovely walk through some woods to a fantastic sandy beach. Reasturants and bars are available but can be a little pricey.

We had a boat trip to the blue cave and finished the day in the Pakleni island. The sea was transparent, excellent for swimming and there were good restaurants; pricy but excellent food.

We visited many of the Pakleni islands and loved every one of them. They are a paradise and the crystal clear waters are perfectly clean and aqua blue. After traveling all over the world they surely must be the most naturally beautiful in all Europe

I don’t think you need a licence to drive a small boat - we hired a 20hp boat and there are plenty stalls along Hvar’s main port area that do boat rental for a day. We walked away from the main area past Hula Hula beach bar... More
