We had an outstanding day with Adrian and Aduros Tours! Of course we hit the highlights: Blue and Green caves, but Adrian also took us to places less visited. He was informative and fun! The boat had tons of room, was safe, and comfortable. We had a wonderful day and would highly recommend this company...& Adrian, to anyone.

I was a bit nervous to commit an entire day to this tour since we only had two days in Hvar, but it was a highlight of the visit. We saw SO many things - three caves, many beaches, had lunch in a great little fishing village. Adrian did a wonderful job of ensuring we avoided the crowds (not easy in July!) and saw some hidden fascinating areas not listed in any guide book. You will not regret this tour! Wear sunscreen and bring a camera :)

Had such a fantastic day - Adrian took us to many islands surrounding Hvar and was very knowledgeable and made the day lots of fun.

Brilliant way to enjoy the beautiful water and coast. Would recommend this to anyone visiting and consider this a highlight of my trip :)

I don't normally write reviews, but since I ended up choosing Aduros tours instead of another company for my recent boat tour solely based on the great reviews here, I feel obliged to do so this time...

We came across Aduros tours stand during a seaside stroll in Hvar recently. There were two girls working on the stand, apparently from two different companies (don't remember the name of the other one unfortunately). We listened to the presentation from both girls and even though to be honest I liked the other presentation a lot better... because the other company didn't advertise tripadvisor and this one did (and really had such wonderful reviews), we decided to book with what we at the time at least (based on all the reviews) thought was "the safer option" and go on the tour the next day with Aduros...

First disappointment came even before starting the trip. When we came to the meeting point in the morning, there was nobody there working for Aduros. There was only the other girl from the previous day, working for the other company... but she was nice about it, offered us to take a seat in the shade and wait a little, and said that somebody from Aduros will surely come soon, as we were a little early (we were eager to start the trip). We did as advised and waited in the shade for a while. However, even after the agreed meeting time had passed, there was still nobody there. Finally, some 15 minutes after the agreed meeting time (we had been waiting for over half an hour by then), and after everybody was already there waiting impatiently, and all the while watching the other company take care of their guests flawlessly, the girl from Aduros finally showed up and after some struggle managed to (quite loudly and rudely to be honest) gather everybody up, charge all the tickets and proceed to take us to the boat. We hoped that was the end of disappointments, and that we were finally off to a wonderful day we were promised. Little did we know...

Second disappointment (and even a bigger one) was the boat itself... Even though we were sold on a big boat that, from the pictures at least, looked really nice and comfortable, and with ample shaded space - the boat we were taken to was a small rubber boat, with weird looking seats in a row that you have to straddle and sit like that the entire time, and with no shade to speak of whatsoever. We didn't want to go on this boat, but were assured by the captain that this was the best boat to take. Even though at this time we've already had serious doubts about the whole story, and everything was starting to look quite a bit shady (even without the shade), since we've already paid for the trip and were excited to visit all the places everybody was speaking so highly of, we decided to go against our gut feeling yet again, and trusted the captain.

But the boat proved to be terrible in the end - seats were not at all comfortable (as advertised) and by the end of the day our behinds were quite sore to be honest. Also, having other people (as nice as they were) practically breathing down your neck the entire time felt really claustrophobic and was in no way conducive to socializing with others, which was what we wanted to do during the boat ride as well. It just felt like we were all on top of each other the whole time. Having no shade to sit under proved a horrible idea as well, and resulted in quite a few painful sunburns by the end of the day.

The trip itself was nice, I can't say it wasn't. The captain tried to make the best of it, and the places we visited were really amazing... the nature, the scenery, the caves, the beaches... left us all speechless and were all definitely worth seeing. But I guess there is no sense in talking about those, 'cause you really need to take the trip to see it, and there are no words to describe the beauty we got to experience. However, all the beautiful places we have seen, we would've seen with the other company as well (the itinerary was pretty similar)... but from what I saw, we would've experienced it from a nicer boat (we saw the boat the other company was boarding at the same time and it was a bigger, nicer and from the looks of it, quite a more comfortable boat), and from what I've seen, we would've been treated a lot more professional from the get-go as well.

All in all, the sights we saw are definitely worth visiting, I recommend taking the tour for the sights any day. But we ended up regretting not going with our gut feeling and booking with the other company on the stand (don't know the name, but they have a yellow poster with lots of pictures and a girl with short hair and big smile telling the story), and feel quite cheated by what we got, as opposed to what we were promised prior to booking and expected based on the raving reviews here on tripadvisor.

This review is writen by the competitor company and its pure act of jealousy and some kind of revenge. There is so many lies writen here so I will emphasize just some of them. First its not correct that our sales person wasnt there at scheduled time and even less that our guests wait more than half of hour that somebody show up. Second, dissapointment with the boat. There is two boats in our fleet that are clearly showed on our brochure and website. One is plastic boat (COBIA 27) and another aluminium RIB (COLNAGO 26) . Guests are always informed that in the case if plastic boat is occupied by the private tour or we expect strong wind and high waves that day they will go with RIB boat . COLNAGO 26 is a purpose built boat to transfer passangers with maximum safety and comfort in all sea conditions. Its also only and one of a kind in Hvar town. Also I want to point up that just because of that boat many times we are able to show all locations that we promise and even more to our guests because we are not afraid that in the case of strong wind in afternoon or high waves we will be forced to go back earlier and skip most of the tour. At the end we are offering tour where main point are locations and not renting boats . Rib boat is not equipped with shade because of purpose and boat design . Most of skippers also close their shades due to stronger wind because there is high risk that it will be destroyed. They stated that boat of other "company" boat is bigger than this which is also lie because the fact is that is 0.5 m smaller . I want to point up now how its pretty clear that review is written by competitor because "other company" its mentioned so many times from the beggining of the review and also person which wrote it described herself at the end ( short hair girl with big smile ) . A true cheater is her but that is not point of this my respond. I can just point up that there is reasons why that "company" with (yellow posterand lots of pictures) dont even have a name or its listed here on tripadvisor . As an owner and skipper I give best from myself every day to provide highest quality service and make best possible experience to my guests which is clear from all other reviews. I believe that tripadvisor community will understand this situation and review will be deleted . Thank you Adrian

After being approached by many guides we are sooooo happy that we chose to go with Adrian!!!! He picked us up from our hotel and gave us the best day ever!!!! His tour was enjoyable and informative. He took us to all of the “must see” but also showed us many hidden gems of the different islands. His music choices were also very fun and entertaining. He was attentive to small children. Making sure they were comfortable. Our tour was so great that we went with Adrian a second day. He gave us history and science lessons as we toured. He made sure that we were happy the entire time. He worked so hard and we would book him for an entire week if we were to ever come back!!!

Just honestly look no further for a boat driver and contact Adrian! Our favorite day of our trip was our day with Adrian. We were a group of 10 on his boat and fit comfortably. He suggested a few routes for us and we just let him take the reigns for the day. We all felt VERY safe with him - he’s an amazing driver. He was extremely personable, accommodating and a knowledgeable guide. If I come back to Hvar, I’ll absolutely be hiring Adrian for another day of boating.

We took the day tour from Hvar and it was a great experience. It was easy to find the boat and we were paired up with others to have a total of 10 people on the boat (plus our guide). We spent the day on the water exploring a few caves, a secluded swimming spot and of course the Blue Cave. The tour ran longer than scheduled because of lines at the Blue Cave but our guide still offered to let people see all of the spots if they wanted. Definitely recommend!

I think most of the reviews here are spot on, it is really that good! Adrian is a great captain and guide, he knows many secrets in the islands around Hvar. I think if we had 2 days I would have seen even more of those hidden gems.

When he give it the full potatoes, the boat goes seriously fast, you will need it to cover the distance (bring your windbreaker). He even did a few fast turns and some donuts in the trip, just hang on. We visited all the famous sites green, blue, monk seal cave, as well as around vis island. The water was cold, but I just couldn't care less, its just crystal blue waters just invites you to jump in. On the way we saw dolphins and a turtle!. Because it was late may, stiniva cove had just a handful of people, it was great!

The last stop was laganini bar @ parmegiana bay, my god!, its the epitome of coolness. The unique wooden decor by the crystal blue bay with probably the best cocktail and seafood risotto was the icing to the cake. You will regret not doing this when you are in Hvar. I would highly recommend Aduros - this one man show captain is as authentic as it gets!

Had a great day in Hvar with Adrian. Picked us up right from the dock and we saw the green cave, blue cave and other sites on the way. He was very knowledgeable and great with a group from ages 40-80.

You can’t go wrong. We paid in advance and felt comfortable with all of the communication.
