Small and charming but way to many tourist for my taste. I would rather have stayed one of the small citys on the way here where could see genuine small city life in Croatia. Well been here and done that. I would not go again but I'm not regret visiting it.

Just go there and see for yourself. I can not find words to do it justice. Tons of charm, lots of all kinds of art, heart-warming, fairy-tale hide-out :)

The last stop on a tour of Istria we booked with our travel agent. And what a beautiful village! I've never been anywhere like it. As you walk along the cobbled streets, the sound of classical music fills the air. Whilst we strolled past the enchanting little stone houses, we could hear violins and cellos being played through the open... More

Grožnjan is a small town that looks like something from a fairy tale. It is known for its love for art and a jazz festival, which occurs every July. The town itself is full of art and craft shops, restaurants and bars. Charming streets of Grožnjan are perfect for a leisure walk; just remember to bring your camera.

Charming village with many galleries. Be aware that the streets are not smooth cobbles and walking may be difficult for some.

It is a lovely hidden jam. Very romantic and beautiful little village on the top of a hill. Loads of arty shops and small cobbled streets. We visited Motovan first but this beets it any time. If you only have time for one of them then this has to be it. You can drive up to it all the way... More

Well worth an easy amble around this little village. Sit back and relax with that view after poking around the little studios of local residents enjoying the good life. Take the tarmac track there though -not the dirt track !

Everyone always brags about motovun, while this pearl is hidden. One of the most beautiful villages in Istria, filled with artists and musicians. Romantic and breathtaking. A must visit place on your Travels. The place usual works functions between mid or late June and mid September filled with music and art.

Traditional hill top town. Couple of good restaurants (Kobana) bar & lots of artist/tourist shops same as many others. Town has a music summer school, so we had drumming one evening & Cellos another, Cellos were great background music.
