    A Therapeutic Stroll !!!
As a regular visitor to Cavtat, a stroll around the promenade is the first activity I do on arrival. Always puts the mind in a good place after the stresses of travelling. Starting by the parade of shops and restaurants it takes on a circular walk on a protruding land mass extending outwards into the sea returning to Cavtat via the main car park and bus stop. Great views of nearby islands and Dubrovnik can be had including large hills further inland. Plenty of opportunities for sea swimming abound off rocky shorelines. Also very good for photography. A very reasonable bar is located on the last leg of the walk. Ideal as there no large ascending hills on route in either direction. A must do activity when visiting this town.

Was under repair but still enjoyed it
A great place to get away from the hassle and bustle of Dubrovnik. 20€ on ferry and they’re pretty regular. The food is excellent and almost half the price of Dubrovnik. Everywhere is clean and tidy and the staff we came across were very friendly and polite. If we come to Dubrovnik again we will definitely be revisiting

    The beautiful Cavtat
The beautiful and picturesque village of Cavtat did not disappoint. If you are looking for a break away from the routine package holidays of Mediterranean Europe, then Cavtat will not disappoint. The village is small and compact with amazing views. Selection of restaurants is good and lots of different boat and coach tours on offer at the promenade. The countryside is exceptionally green and lush, so as you will expect it does rain now and again, but the weather is nice! There are no sandy beaches, but plenty of what they call concrete beaches and pebble beaches. Good for a short break or to use to as a base to explore to further afield to the likes of Dubrovnik, Bosnia & Herzegovina, Montenegro, etc. The locals are very nice and very helpful and want to ensure you have a good time. Only 10-15 minutes from the airport in a taxi and this resort won't break the bank.

    Stunning place
Easy to reach from Dubrovnik by the number 10 bus at the side of the cable car station, scenic route about half hour and so worth it. The promenade walk was surrounded by natural beauty from one small bay to another. There was a small rocky beach if you want to get a bed or pop a towel down and sit looking out at a picture postcard view.

Very beautiful little promenade in a small coastal town
Cavtat Seside Promenade is located in the old town of Cavtat, a little town near Dubrovnik Airport, in Croatia. It is a very nice and tiny place, where you can relax (we visited the place, the last October), walk, see some monuments (like a church, a monastery or a cemetery) or go to any bar/restaurant to drink or eat something while you see the leisure port and the Mediterranean Sea. A very nice and quite place in low season. (See also Cavtat Old Town, Cavtat Cemetery, Church of St Nicholas, Church of Our Lady of the Snow and Pastry&Coffe Shop Peco)

    A beautiful place
A beautiful harbour with lots of cafés and restaurants the ice cream is great. Watch the sun go down it's fantastic. The only one thing is that is very expensive so be prepared! Use card or cash as the ATMs charge €6 to withdraw cash.

Worth a quick trip if staying nearby
Lovely little promenade being significantly improved (Oct 2023 - suspect all ready for 2024). Nice choice of restaurants and a good break from the hustle and bustle of Dubrovnik. We stayed here so could obviously walk around - I think it would definitely be worth a day trip from Dubrovnik if you had the time - don't miss the treelined circular walk starting at the far end of the promenade around the headland.

Walk the circumference of the peninsula
As we walked by the parade of shops leading from the parking lot to the bay, we came to a lovely promenade. Unfortunately, the sea walls along promenade were under construction during our visit, but this did not deter us from snapping pictures and just enjoying our surroundings. Since Cavtat is located on a small peninsula, one can walk all around it. The promenade is mostly paved with some small, gentle inclines along the way. As we strolled along, we enjoyed unobstructed views of the Adriatic Sea. There are also some small swimming spots and snack bars. The promenade skirts the peninsula with a cemetery at the top. One can continue, passing several beaches and snack bars before returning to your starting point. Assuming that you don’t stop for a swim or a picnic along the rocks, a leisurely walk along the entire circumference of the peninsula will take you under an hour.

Beautiful harbour side location with lots of offer.
We loved it here a lovely tranquil place to be. With gorgeous views across the bay and a lovely harbour. Much more relaxed and quieter than Dubrovnik which we liked. Plenty of choices of places to eat and drink along the waterfront. From bars, restaurants, cafes & ice-cream shop. You can stop for a coffee or a drink as well as food. You can pick up a ferry to Dubrovnik here as it runs regularservice or various day trips to the islands You can walk into the old town and see the churches and chapels here along with the houses . Cavtat is set on 2 headlands which you can walk around and get some stunning views of the area. There are places that you can get into and have a swim which on a hot day would be idyllic. Plenty of places around the peninsula that you can stop and sit and take in the sights and sounds of the sea and the bird song which is so good There is a shell museum, the Rectors palace, a cemetery & mausoleum here to visit as well so quite a few things to do. Cavtat can be reached easily from Dubrovnik by either the ferry or by the local bus route (no 10) that runs regularly throughout the day and late into the evenings Would definitely recommend as it's a beautiful place

During the day life here is sedate, a few people trying to entice you into restaurants or to take boat excursions to Dubrovnik. It's later in the evening that things take off. We were here at the same time as the Champions League Final - now that was some night (despite the result)!

Sea walls along Promenade were under construction. You can see the sites in an hour, but it was quiet and not very crowded. Maybe worth a trip if you want to go to the beaches or have dinner/lunch. Far down the list after Zadar, Split and Dubrovnik.
