Considering this beach is supposed to be a natural park I am not sure anymore what the definition of that is. There a thousands of people, heaps of stores and restaurants and it's just in general way too crowded. At least it's not dirty and there are plenty of things to do if you have some money to spend. Been... More

But do remember; this is a big, popular beach. In pictures it may look idyllic and quiet, but there is A Lot of people there. No sand, but nice small stones. Try to look for little seashells in between. Crystal clear water. Several places to buy food, and the best smoothies ever at Fruit land! Don't buy towel at the... More

It is quite crowded, though. First you may think about sandy beach, it is not! Smal stones, have your flip flops becouse sooooo hot! Near you have great AURO beach bar with saxo or violin vibes, live! Nudist beach just 6min. walking distance.

We came on the 9:30 ferry and went straight to the beach which was almost empty. Around noon it became a zoo with loads of people filing in and lots of water sports (a bit noisy). The first hour was heaven. We ended up staying the whole day and had a great relaxing day at this gorgeous beach. FYI, it's... More

The beach is astonishing and features many offerings: Bars and activities. It is quite crowded, though.

This famous beach changes shape with the weather. It was piercingly hot in July with no shade on the pebbles somay need an umbrellas. Shoes are available to buy from the small stalls as it was difficult to go in the water without these due to the pebbles. Plenty of areas to buy food and a children's play area in... More

A crowded beach with clear waters. I'm a fan of non-sand beaches so the small stones suited me. Many places to eat and nice looking spots for lounging in the shades. It is a nice beach but very busy and almost no privacy.

We were staying at Bluesun Elaphusa so literally 5 minutes walk if you get fed up with the pool. Shingle beach, gets very busy in main season. 2 sun beds and umbrella were 150 kuna (circa £17) for the day - otherwise padded beach mat recommended...as well as beach shoes if u have them...those stones get mighty hot. Nice range... More

Great beach, nice sea entrance, clean sea but def not as beautiful and white as in the photos. Windy on one side, sunny on the other.

We arrived to the beach in the morning, when there wasn't much people around. At that point the beach was beautiful and relaxing. But soon people started rolling in, and the experience went from relaxing to almost claustrophobic. I myself decided to leave since i didn't like the amount of people that was there.
