This is a beautiful beach with lots of fun activities to do. We got a couple of beach chairs and an umbrella, then enjoyed the day swimming and tanning. There are plenty of food and drink vendors to satisfy your needs. The only thing we did not care for is the fact that there are no public restrooms available. You... More

A popular beach resort on Brac. Plenty of amenities (a variety of food and drink outlets and toilets) and unlike many Croatian beaches, small pebbles aid access to the water; good play area for kids in the water. For swimming, we preferred the small pebbled beaches to the east of the town (towards the monastery) rather than Zlatni Rat.

I love this beach and pebbles instead of sand is much to be preferred. Very clear and clean water and no sane everywhere and the walking on the pebbles give you excellent foot-massage. And this it is one of the best beaches in the Mediterranean one gets the chance to watch a great deal of great yachts anchoring up outside... More

It's rocky (it's the Adriatic), it gets very windy as the day goes on but it's stunning. You must visit this beach if on Brač!!

Enjoyed our visit. Got off a boat in Bol and spent about 30 mins walking to Zlatni Rat beach. The second half was all in shade on a nice path overlooking the coast. If you didn't want to walk then there were plenty of taxi-boats dropping you at the beach for 15K. Nice swim - the pebbles under foot were... More

Lots of space and laid back atmosphere. Water is very clear and the beach is clean. Only annoying thing is you have to pay 5 kuna everytime you use the toilet. If you're spending a few hours at a beach and you drink a lot of liquid then you are likely to use the toilet a few times. They charge... More

The Zlatni Rat beach is beautiful and clean. The water is super clear and calm. In the mornings we visited, it was quite windy but the wind quietens down in the afternoon. A few bars and snack places.

Was here in August 2015. Bol has a beautiful boardwalk that is shaded and wide and has some food and attractions. It really has a lazy summer away from it all kind of feel. The beach was nice but quite crowded and also keep in mind that it is a pebble beach, not a sand beach. This means you will... More
