Lijiang Park is a beautiful and beautiful park where you can stroll and enjoy the scenery, see the flowers and the big trees. Performances and celebrations are done in the garden, enjoying folk dances, which must be visited really beautiful.

Ancient town worth a visit
Jun 2019 • Friends
This is a big ancient town with many small lanes.

There are a lot of shops selling food, wares, accessories and clothes. There are also a lot of pubs at the center (near 四方街). BnB of various style/ ambient have sprung up in the last 2 years, which is a good alternative to the international hotels.

The ancient architecture is still pretty well preserved in the quieter lanes. Take your time to observe the different architecture and the “dong-ba” ancient word (东巴) drawing on the walls.

A nice time to visit will be around 5pm when it starts getting cooler.

Except for a few brands which have scaled throughout China/ internationally, you are welcomed to bargain. All the shop owners are friendly and polite if asked nicely.

Jun 2018 • Couples
Seeing Lijiang for the first time and we felt in love with this town at once :) Very well maintained streets and buildings everywhere - no litter at all ! Very, very beautiful! Next time we will stay for some days! - this time it was only 4 hours - have to go back to Dali. See you! :)

The Other Old Town
Oct 2018 • Couples
Amidst the hustle-bustle of the 2000 shops within Old Town is the quiet beauty of the World Heritage Park with its numerous canals and ponds, lovely garden walls and colorful flowers. A delightful respite from the markets of Old Town.

Beautiful ancient town
Jun 2018 • Friends
This is the other Old Town in Lijiang. Which is probably better laid-out and easier to get around without getting lost. Touristy yes! that's why we travel to see how the other side is different to our own.

Must See for Chinese Culture and Beauty!
Jun 2018 • Business
The Ancient town of Lijiang has a number of canals and waterways and over 2000 shops. It was devastated by an earthquake and is bouncing back. There are numerous cobblestone streets and resembles a European medieval village. Our guide (Cindy) was Naxi and showed us a number of amazing sites. We bought some very special gifts. Would definitely go back for another visit.

Looks old and very Chinese
Apr 2018 • Family
Pretty, really nice, like it a lot. Cool. 13 year old says: Looks old and very Chinese. Vendors were very relaxed. We liked the small alleys with the bars and restaurants the best, even though we were there in the daytime and hey were not yet open.
Chose not to get any dried yak meat, but there was a lot on offer.

Nice to go around with friends
May 2017 • Business
It's nice to go around with friends. The shops mainly open late. There can be lots of people during Chinese holidays. A lot of construction work was going on during my visit to extend the market area with old looks.

Expensive!
Feb 2017
Over 100 yuan during the day; apparently free after sundown, but they don't tell you that at the ticket counter.
