The view over Erhai lake is great, and as well as the easy access to the Cloudpass walkway above the temple (a well maintained walking route along the mountain side) it is well worth the fee for the cable car and access to the park....More

From the temple you have good view of the Erhai basin. You have a chance to see a good variety of Buddhist statues. You can take a cable-car up the mountain. Hiking up there is not recommended.
