Caught the bus from Chengdu bus station it took 2 hours to get to Leshan then caught the local bus 13 to get to the park to see the buddha & gardens It was packed with lots of chinese tourists so you should get there early It was very smogey & smokey but well worth the long travel to get there The buddha was amazing so huge & so old you have to walk down the side of the mountain to get to the buddha's feet or go on the boat just note that you have to walk back up more steps to get out its very hard going!!!
