Great Place to See a Play

I came to the BJCC from the Knoxville, TN area to see the play, "Wicked." I have seen many plays in a variety of venues, and the BJCC ranks right up there with the best. First... read more

We just saw Wicked in the concert hall. It' s a great venue. First there is a lot of parking available. we paid $8 to park just across the street. After the play, leaving was a snap. The concert hall has great sound. The venue is slopped so you don't have to worry about just seeing the back of the... More

I came to the BJCC from the Knoxville, TN area to see the play, "Wicked." I have seen many plays in a variety of venues, and the BJCC ranks right up there with the best. First of all, the quality of the show offered ("Wicked") was top notch. Secondly, the view from the first row of the the lower balcony... More

Easy parking around this beautiful venue. Inside the concert Hall is nice. You also may eat inside. Seats are a bit close, but every view it seemed for Wicked, would have been a great one. We sat balcony seats and view was great. Great show also. After, we took a short walk to art museum, which is nice also. Saw... More

Visited the Birmingham Jefferson Civic Center's Concert Hall to take in the national touring production of "Wicked" last night. Outstanding facility, with friendly, helpful support staff. Sound acoustics were very good. Have attended many events of the years (games, concerts, plays, exhibitions) and facility always seems to keep getting updated to keep up with the times. Expanded parking lots and... More

The remodel is nice and the place is a lot brighter and easier to find where you are going. The only problem is the peoples attitude that work there have not changed at all and they are not pleasant to be around.

Saw Celtic Women concert at the concert hall. Also have attended Home and Garden show at the convention center. There are at least four different types of venues here.

Went to the concert a couple of weeks age. Parking was easy and convenient. A lot of well lit walkways no trouble getting in or out. The staff was very heplful and courteous. My wife and I really enjoyed the perfofrmance and atmosphere.

Good set up. Asset to the City. Thought given to amenities. Various locations in the BJCC. Birmingham would be behind it's peer cities without BJCC. More good stuff coming for my home states biggest city

I have been to several concerts, performances, and games at this location and it is wonderful. The parking is very convenient to the facility and fairly reasonable.

Work is in progress to update, but more work is needed. Escalators are scary - not enough setting between meeting rooms. Kids were sitting in the floor all over the place. Halls are narrow, meeting. Rooms I was in this conference were a weird shape - made presentations hard to set up. Need more affordable food options nearby.
