... Theaters I have ever seen. Saw modest mouse there and it was spectacular. The decor of the theatre was as much a part of the experience as the light show. Great, intimate and with nice sight lines.

We went to the Steven Curtis Chapman and Third Day concert on April 21. The venue is very nice! I couldn't see a bad seat in the house. Very intimate setting but large enough. Acoustics and sound was good. Very beautiful venue

If you've never been to the Alabama Theater, your missing one of the treasures of the south. It's like stepping back in time. Great staff. Great decor. The only drawback is that they book a lot of private events and are not always open to...More

Lived in Birmingham for 13 years and have been to Alabama theater so many times I can't recount. Movies, symphony, Barber Shop Quartet, organ recital. The list is endless. It is a low cost evening of fun for the whole family. Ample parking close by.

The Alabama theatre is one of my favorite places to visit. The artistry is simply magnificent! We visit it several times a year for concerts, movies, plays, etc.. The history is worth the visit.

If you get the chance to view a movie in this historic theater, you won't regret the decision. It made the holidays a little more special (even thought my family has seen 'Elf' dozens of times) and reminds me of what moviegoing would have been...More

The Alabama Theater is beautiful with ornate fixtures and a huge balcony. The organ that plays before shows is classic and the summer and holiday movie festivals they host are great. A cool place to see a movie or show.

The theatre is a nice place, some seats in the house than others. I saw the ballet Swan Lake and it was pretty nice too. Staying at the Tutwiler allows you to easily walk here and stop for some food along the way.
