Exiting the Potala Palace and then taking a free electric cart by its gate, we quickly got to this palace that had received Panchen of Tibet in the past decades. We used the same admission ticket for both Potala Palace and this temple.

This palace is not as high as the Potala Place, nor as magnificent as it. But it’s truly worth our visit, and it's appropriate for both seniors and kids as well. It's one of the temples in town still managed by real monks.

Plenty to see and look at inside some of the buildings, especially good for us because it was raining. However there were no lights inside, so if you want to see clearly, use the light on your phone.

This huge red building has some fantastic interior sites. Don't forget a ticket to this temple includes the Potala Palace Temple next door.

The temple has a very ornate roof, and there are great views of the Summer Mountain Resort Walls and the temple valley from the roof. The best views of Sumeru temple and from Puling Temple or the Resort's Walls. See my photos for good photo angles.
