Your trip to Yangshuo will never be complete without at least passing by this place. I guess this is like any other street / night market but with a character. Maybe because of the mountains. There are many restaurants even huge ones but not much...More

The opportunity to buy cheap things at higher prices than other places. Nice to look at but they always want you to come and look.

Unless rows of overpriced souvenir shops selling the same stuff, pricey tourist restaurants and numerous touts are your thing, steer clear of this pedestrian street. There are many hostels and cheap hotels located on this street and while it may sound like a bright idea...More

great food with reasonable price if you explore to the small lane.... C source hotel interior design & layout was unique in sense of art but the heat insulation can be further improved.

West Street has become too touristy over the years. The locals we met said most of the shops are now mostly owned by people from out of town. The night market has offerings that is not very different from any other night markets in China....More

lots of great energy and fun shopping. Rather touristy but well worth a visit. We got lots of great photos and there were many nice choices of restaurants.

It's a bit busy, noisy, and full of touristy souvenirs. Typical of a Chinese tourist city. Best thing is to embrace it. It is easy to get away from it if you want to.

Go for a nice stroll along this pedestrian street with lots of eateries and some street food. Was a winter night and can imagine that it gets busy in summer.

wow...this place is packed with mostly chinese tourists and vendors selling lots of trinkets...some nice, many not so nice. bargaining IS the way to go. We typically paid less than half the original price the person would ask--or even less than that. Just walk away...More
