Great company for a tour. We were taken round Yangshuo by Scott, who was extremely friendly and knowledgeable about the local area and had done everything to make sure we had a great day. Very professional guide, highly recommended!

Thanks for getting me in love with biking. I was hooked the minute our group descended into Yangshuo with the karst landscape unfolding before us. Scott and Snowy runs a great outfit working closely with knowledgeable local guides ever ready with emergency bike fixes and coffee breaks. Their tours are designed to be stress-free and focused 100% on the pleasure of long bike rides. Having been on three of them, first in Guangxi, then Christmas in Hainan and now Ningxia - I can't wait for my next adventure with this crew.

a fantastic time, well organized, and lovely experience seeing the different landscapes of China. Went through both Guangxi and Ningxia with Scott and Snowy(Bike Asia Cycling Tours) on two separate occasions, and they have been the best vacations I've ever done. Can't wait to go on more adventures through new areas with them.

If you like biking and looking at the scenery of mountains and village life then come here. Our guide Yuan was very nice and helpful during our bike ride. She took us on an adventurous journey. It was a little bumpy at times but it was worth it for the amazing views.

My wife and I went on the countryside cycling tour of Yangshuo. We cycled 60km of beautiful countryside taking in the surrounding villages, fields, and limestone karsts. Snowy is a great guide - very interesting, friendly, and personable. It was our favorite part of our Yangshuo trip and I would highly recommend Bike Asia Cycling Tours.

The team at Bike Asia were gracious and so helpful. We needed smaller bikes and gear for the kids and they provided great quality options. They helped to build a day itinerary that allowed for the kids needing a break and found quiet paths to ride on away from traffic. Our guide, Yuan, was fabulous and made the day so very enjoyable and hosted us beautifully. We rode about 15km - 20km in total, did a bamboo rafting adventure and stopped to see some local farmers collecting water chestnuts. We’d absolutely do it again.

The tour in yangshuo county was spectacular. Incredible landscapes, beautiful villages and the roads and the paths were really comfortable. Our guide Yuan was brilliant, very informative and hilarious and she was always minding to our safety, also making sure we were not so tired. My biking skills are just average but I had no problems to complete the 50km trip, the mountain bikes were very comfortable. We also stopped for lunch in a nice restaurant in the countryside, the food was tasty and healthy. Also the reservation process was Easy and smooth and they answered all my questions quickly and in an exhaustive way. Thank you bikeasia and Yuan for One of the best experiences on the road of my life.

This must be one of the most scenic cycling areas in the world! (Perhaps besides Rallarvegen and a few others in Norway!) We were lucky to have Scott as our one-day cycling guide from Yangshuo, through beautiful fields to Yulong river, then over the hills to Li river and Xingping (our own base). Despite some delays on our part before departure, Scott tailored a beautiful cyle route, between the most captivating karst hills and past some spectacular viewing points! Scott is an easy going chap with many interesting things to tell about the area, culture and much else. This must be a thousand times better way to see the area than the usual river boat cruise (which we skipped). Highly recommended!

Our guide for the day was Juen (hope that is the correct spelling!) and she was awesome! Super-knowledgeable about all the places we visited, friendly, and went at a pace that really suited us (i.e. gentle!)
The scenery was just out of this world, you can't believe you are cycling through this fairy-tale landscape. The bamboo river raft lasted 1.5 hours and was a great way to relax after a morning of cycling. Juen met us with the bikes at the other end, and we went for lunch at a small local restaurant where they grow their own veggies. We are vegetarians, and they catered to us with no problem at all. When they discovered it was also my boyfriend's birthday, they brought him the traditional long noddles (wish for a long life). More cycling in the afternoon, through a very old village, and Juen explained the architecture to us, which was fascinating. When we arrived back at Bike Asia, we were offered water, tea & coffee, and sat for a while chatting with the local ladies who run the tours.
Overall, a great experience and a perfect way to see a lot of this beautiful area. Highly recommend!

Hi! I'm a bit skeptical of taking a trip with 3 kids. We are 3 adults with 3 kids. The 10 year old perhaps should be on a tandem just to keep him with the group (a bit impulsive), the 5 year old would need tandem because while she can cycle, she is inexperienced. And, the 3 year old is just learning. She rides a tandem at home with a seat and strap attached - but she rarely pedals and usually just adds weight, lol. Are there better options for carting kids? E-assist ? Is it not worth the hassle? Especially as we will be coming in July. Also... one adult HATES any kind of traffic so I considered the 10 mile route Shili Gallery. Should I just give up , or are there any ways to make this work? Many thanks!

Wow, that is one interesting group for travel! As I remember, we did have a little bit of traffic on our absolutely amazing bike trip. Unfortunately, my "kids" are all grown up, so I don't really know the answer. However, the people at Bike Asia, are SUPER nice, and i am sure, if you write to them with your questions, they will provide you with information. Have a wonderful trip. Sorry I couldn't be more helpful. The route we took was flat and safe and beautiful, except for a bit at the beginning and end.

Are the bike tours in the Yangshou area quite challenging or ok for the average bike rider?

Not very challenging in terms of what we did. I am an unfit very occasional cyclist and I managed fine. It was all pretty flat but very beautiful. More challenging for me was cycling in and out of town as lots of cars.
