It takes a while to get here, we came by bus. Heard that the boat trip there takes longer but is so nice. This place is worth at least a days" stay. We had a good lunch, try the local fish cooked in beer. Then...More

It's an ok experience but I felt it was a little too commercial. There are ample opportunities of photo shooting but you are not really surrounded by the hills that are typical along the LiJiang river.

We rode bikes to linguong old village, The best find in the area. So much more authentic than Fuli. There we hired a motorised raft that took us and our bikes back to Yangshou with a half hour stop off at Fuli

If you don't enjoy crowds, instead of boat trip, take the quiet bikes trails along the river through rice fields, rural villages and see many buffalos

The bamboo boats are an added bonus. The scenery is exquisite. We would do it again. Go early in the morning to avoid the crowds.

Yes take a ride on the bamboo rafts on the Yulong river. There are also some good little outdoor cafes in the area. I would go during the week because on the weekend it gets very crowded. You have to make a deal for a...More

We hired a raft at the north part of the river and they shuttled our bikes to the take-out place. The views were wonderful. It was safe, relaxing, and worthy of many photos - especially the scene on river right that is on the 20...More

We rented a raft and went down the river. It was beautiful and peaceful. We rode bicycles to the river so the tour included a bike trip and raft ride. The country side is a must see. The people are really nice.

I preferred the Yulong river! It's much more quite and not so overcrowded! If you are interested in rent a bike and bike along the river - it's an absolut gorgeous landscape!
