Recommend this as a way to get out and see the scenery. It takes a couple of hours to go down the river but it's really lovely

It was fun bamboo rafting for the first time. I wish it was longer and not so short. It was relaxing for the short time period. The scenery was very nice. Saw a few people doing wedding shoot.

It was a nice relaxing ride along the river with a few thrills when the draft went from one level of water to the next. The price per boat is high (320 RMB) but the whole trip took nearly 2 hrs.

We opted for the 1.5 drive to the pier for a 1.5 hour bamboo raft along the Yulong river and 1.5 return. Raft seats 4 people and has a driver. Booked through... More

Bamboo rafting is an absolute must whilst in Yangshuo. However, you do need to be careful when booking your tickets. Ask your hotel or hostel for advice, rather than just booking with somebody on the street.
