This really is a nice rafting excursion. Life vest is mandatory, which for human seal like us, was a downer.

This activity depends on which Bamboo rafting you take. The best one with all the nice views was not available due to bad crowd control by the operator. Totally disappointment for us. We took another Bamboo raft departing at Fuli bridge. This is relaxing but a total waste of time as there is nothing spectacular to see accept for the bridge.

We rented e-bikes to go to the bamboo raft using a GPS app. Each boat only takes two people and the cost is 255rmb per boat. We are a family of four, so we paid for two boats. We are foreigners living in China. They did not ask for our passports and did not require the use of a mask. There is a big frame that you have to walk through that measures our temperature. The raft is relaxing and good for enjoying the scenic views for over an hour. You won’t get wet and it won’t be dangerous to hold your phone to take pictures or videos of the ride. I would recommend to wear flip flops. We paid 60rmb to get a car ride back to get the e-bikes.

There are many places offering this but the ones on Yulong river are best. We felt that it less crowded, better landscape.
