Ancient Chinese scenic park
Apr 2021
This Qing Dynasty park, created in 1909 is renown for its scenic beauty and Qing Dtnasty bridges and architecture. The park honours Liu Zongyuan, Tang Dynasty's famed writer.

Wonderful free performances
Aug 2020
During our visit, we and many others stop to view and enjoy traditional Chinese performances. A great place for a relaxing walk on a hot summer day.

Springing to life
Mar 2020
This is a beautiful season of the year to walk through and relax in the park. The trees and flowers are showing their spring colours. The air is oxygen rich, and with the pandemic, less people are visiting the park.

OK, but the noise!
Nov 2019
A pleasant enough park in the ciy center, but beware the noise. There are dozens of signs prohibiting noise (and almost everything else) but no one pays any attention. Loud music from competing groups of dancers with portable amplifiers playing different tunes mere yards from each other. People singing or playing instruments, again with portable amplifiers.

It gets cacophonous, especially on weekends, and don't even think about going there in public holidays.

There are signs in various languages desribing the various buildings and other sights in the park.

Note: It is NOT called Liuzhou Park as some reviews here have it. It is Liuhou park. Totally different in Chinese.

Great Casual Jaunt

Yes it’s a big park in a smaller city in China. So it has all the usual. But it’s lovely. Very scenic. Quite large.

Liuzhou Park
May 2016 • Solo
Liuzhou Park is in the centre of the city. Many of the bus routes in the city go to or very to the park. It has many attractions, something for all ages. Being in the centre of the city it is very popular. But if you pick the right time, a nice peaceful park.

This is another beautiful park in Liuzhou that has a lot of picturesque landscaping that is great for picture taking. Nice walking paths with beautiful scenery everywhere. The place to be for nature lovers. If you visit Liuzhou I highly recommend you visit this park and the many other parks in Liuzhou.

A very central central city park
May 2014 • Family
This park is a short walk from the city centre/mall area (around 10 minutes) It a very nice park with lakes, bridges, mature trees and attractive buildings. You will also hear and see people performing dance , singing or playing chinese instruments and its all for free.
This is a must see if you are in Liuzhou.
