This temples is very popular for the locals, on the weekends you have to squeezed your way into the temple! It is also one of the few old Taoist temple that was never destroyed during the war.

The high rising towers of the temple and their architecture is just an amazing sight , the 500 sculptures is a thing which makes me say wonders will never cease .

We visited the Chengtian Temple during our bus tour of Quanzhou. As described elsewhere this is one of the few well-preserved Buddhist temples in mainland China complete with a large garden surrounding it. The main features include the two stone pagodas, east and west, which dates back to about 800 years. Definitely worth visiting.

This temple is located next to the entrance of the Jinguang school. The street is noisy, but when you cross the door and walk past these ancient buildings the silence is just amazing! Was here as they had a group from Tawaiin there to visit and was very busy on a Sunday afternoon. Well worth the trip and to visit all the shops close by
