I visited the Buxian bridge during my hike of the Xihai Grand Canyon

I started at the south entrance of the grand canyon. From Beihai hotel, I had to hike over the top of bright summit, and then hike down to Baiyun hotel. The entrance to the Grand canyon is by the hotel and there are signs that will point the way. I feel that if you use the app maps.me, you will be able to find your way on the mountain better.

The hike was Beautiful!!! I went during a foggy day, and I feel that the fog only enhanced the natural beauty of the area. I hiked mostly down hill until I reached Buxian/fairy stepping bridge. The views were exquisite along the way, and I spent the majority of the hike taking pictures.

I feel that the paths here were not as safe as the paths in the rest of the park. If you have little children with you, I would suggest not taking them on to this part of the hike,

Once I got to the Bridge area, I decided to turn around and hike back up, I do know that if you kept going down, there is a cable car that will take you back up, or you could hike the entire circuit.

This was by far the highlight of my trip

After the Xihei Grand Canyon awesome scenery exploration, we checked in the White Cloud Hotel. Took a shower, had a good
Lunch and started another natural beauty exploration heading to Buxian Bridge. How lucky we were, the overnight raining built up sufficient moisture to let the Mother Nature played the great symphony to have the mist, the fog, the cloud ocean flowing around the awesome mountain peaks. OMG, this morning’s Grand Canyon already shocked me, and now another shock with different kind of natural beauty. Actually, the pictures can only tell very little of this natural beauty. You have to come by yourself with your owns to see such a gorgeous place like an awesome photo after another.

Walking to the bridge is a one way route at the moment but definitely worthwhile. Its a very very steep descent but very few people are using the route because the cross over to the cableway is closed. This means a long hard descent but not too far up again to the base of the cable way on the other side.

This is a stone bridge that stretches across a gorge that for those with acrophobia I wouldn't recommend looking down. I was staying at the baiyun hotel and trekked there late in the afternoon after climbing up to this point. Its easy on the journey there because its a downward path, but my legs felt the strain on the way back to get back to the baiyun hotel. If you reach the bridge late in the afternoon there is a warning not to go any further I imagine because it leads further downward.

This is an amazing looking place and right out of a movie feel but the tourists just took the surreal feeling away as they pushed and disrespected, waiting in line folks, so if you are there without tour groups it is worth a thousand pictures. If there are tour groups get a sense of the place but the photos will look like Disneyland.

several pros - believe or not, but there were only few people there! very nice views, even several on the way there; not so far from "center"; I would say it was the nicest trail of my trip to HuangShan.

Loved it! Felt like an Elb-Princess in Middle Earth!
Few tourists and no groups make it there as its a lot of steps down there and you have to walk back up the same way if the last part of the west canyon is closed (as it was on 1st of April)

One out of one thousand tourists ever been there. There is a branched road at TianHai that goes there. Beautiful place, but a lot of walking!

Buxian bridge is on the way to Turtle mountain. If you can handle the hanging path then it should not cause a problem but it makes a good photo stop.
