All I can say after this great hiking is that it’s dangerous but definitely worth your every single step into and out of the Grand Canyon. Actually, I was somewhat worrisome the night before because of raining weather forecast (and it indeed rained all night)....More

Close to the end of the trail we gave up due to the huge number of people as well as many of them pushing past so didn’t get to the end, but along the way there were great views down the canyon.

Loved this hike into the canyon. Amzing scenery - not for people with a fear of heights - plus lots of stairs. The trails are well maintained and provide great overlooks. I would go back in a heart beat.

Worth the steep walk to see such beauty. We walked at least 8km, each view top notched world class. The best scenery so far, quite different from Guilin, which is also a must .

This is a deeply beautiful place that offers a nice contrast to the soaring horizons elsewhere in the park - this is a more intimate and dramatic place, and if you go down the more rarely visited Guanming Ding side of the Xihai trail, that...More

If you have the chance to go to Huangshan, you should make time to hike the entire length from Cloud Dispelling Pagoda to the funicular cable car at the bottom. You will go down and down a long way, but the views are definitely worth...More

Make sure you include this in your plan when you visit Huanshan Mountain. Stunning views and scenery and plenty of places to sit and rest which you will need with all the steps taking you up and down.

I would definitely store your large backpack. The shear volume of people in the tour groups makes the walk through the canyon very difficult and at times frustrating. We brought enough water and a picnic lunch in a daypack.
