It’s a nice spot in the desert, with a beautiful scenery and you can also swim in one of the pools. The second “eye” is an interesting salt lake. Bring water, sun screen, sun glasses and a hat. It’s very hot and no place to hide from the harsh sun.

Had a photo stop at Ojos Del Salar, which is at a short drive from Tebinquiche lake en route to Laguna Cejar. There are 2 craters with not so salty water and one may swim inside either of them if one desires. The surroundings are absolutely picturesque. Certainly worth visiting.

A jump into this small fresh water lake is nice, a break in the tour around the Salar. At the bottom of this lake we left a go-pro camera, if anyboby will find it please inform us

We stopped on this place on our way to Tebinquinche Lagoon. Two rounded lagoons and in one of them you can dive. You can take nice pictures and since it was on our way it is ok to stop. It is free.

These are two small lagoons in the Atacama Desert. In one you're able to jump off the side and into the water for a nice swim. The other is a great place to take some amazing pictures with the Andes in the background. It is worth a quick stop if out in the vicinity of Laguna Cejar but I would not make a special trip out there just for this. If you've been to Laguna Cejar one note...while you can easily float in Laguna Cejar, los ojos are not the same. The salinity of the them is quite a bit less compared with Laguna Cejar meaning that your ability to float in the ojos is a little easier than say the ocean but not nearly as easy as Laguna Cejar.

It is amazing to see water in the middle of such rough desert and understand how nature works. It is a must see if you are in Atacama.

I loved seeing the two pools and trying to figure out how they got there. Was it from a meteorite? There were volcanoes, the new Alma Space Project, and the border of Argentina right behind the mountains. There was a small Chilean duck swimming in the water, and the reflections in the water made for some great pictures. The salt flats were wonderful to see. It's probably not the greatest attraction of all, but if you are in the area, it's definitely worth a stop.

An interesting place in the Atacama Desert. Here you have the feeling that the Atacama Desert looks at you through these eyes. Even a little uncomfortable.

These small lagoons 50 yrs from each other appear from nowhere in the middle of a desert. Don’t ask me how there got there and how they still hold loads of water. You can even have a dip in them, but bring your own towel etc as there are no changing facilities. They ar3 set in a beautiful valley surrounded by mountains, a stunning setting.

Vale a experiência!
