The museum is quite small, but the audioguide is brilliant. It takes around 45 minutes. At the end there is a guide showing you real meteorites and you get a chance to learn how to identify if it is real. Price is 3500 Chile pesos for adults and 2500 for kids. This is one of the best museums we have... More

We were really glad to find this little museum that had a very interesting display of meteorites with audio guides in multiple languages, including English, and a fascinating story of how the Atacama desert is a prime place for finding remnants of the formation of the solar system.

A nice small place that has a good tour of meteorites as explained from the birth of the Solar system to planet formation. There is an included English audio guide and then a person explains some other exhibits where you get to touch some big meteorites! The price was definitely worth it and if you are into astronomy this will... More

You do not go to Atacama for a museum. Had some time on getaway day so I walked to this museum and was pleasantly suprised. Housed in a canvas dome, the place was quite cool in the morning. A 30 minute audio tour was followed by a discussion and demo by the lovely attendants. I learned more than I expected... More

The museum is not big, but it is very much worth to see. It has a lot of info about the meteorites, and friendly employees, who will answer all your questions after viewing the exhibition. if you are interested in the topic go see it. You need about 1 hour for the visit.

I just passed this museum on the way to town center. I'm glad we stopped by. For small price, this museum is worth visiting. The collection of meteorite are amazing. The audio device which comes with the ticket provides comprehensive information about the meteor and event surrounding it. The staff are friendly and they have good knowledge and speak very... More

Visited this small museum as we had some time to spare. Pleasantly surprised by the displays and quality of information (via audio guide) though some of it was a bit technical; in particular enjoyed the interactive section where you get to touch meteorites and learn to distinguish meteorites from other types of rock. Friendly and well informed staff.

This is a cheap, nevertheless super interesting place to know in Atacama! Support too many languages, scientifically rich and, most important, the guides are highly qualified

The museum is really not crowded, we were the only ones there at that time. The exhibitions are really interesting and I learned many new things. The museum is small though, but is worth a visit.

Enjoyed the museum, in contrary to a lot of other activities in San Pedro not crowded. Learned something more about meteorites, explanations were very clear.
