This is a MUST attraction when going to San Pedro! Even if there are different tour options, I recommend to rent a car so you can stay as long as you want! Take a swimsuit and towel! It is possible to swim and enjoy the...More

The best tour I’ve been on in Atacama! Beautiful drive with amazing views of the Andean Range. And the laguna itself is breathtaking. We went with vive atacama which is an amazing tour company with safe vehicles, great guides - even food!

Very special place. That was our last and best tour. Do it after all the others. We were surprised with the contrast of colours and environments.

We rented a car in San Pedro (a 4wd) and had an amazing day driving up to Salar de Tara. The route is incredible and if you have your own car you can stop as often as you like to appreciate the views. As the...More

We drove there with our “4wd” Hyundai Tucson. Had to follow some tour vans to get there. Its possible to get there with a 2wd tall/high car, just like the tour vans, but you have to know how to drive well in different terrains. I...More

Incredible! It is quite different from most of the landscape I am used to. Desert view connected with a multicolor lake and mountains encircling everything. Flamingos, ducks, vicunhas and even a fox were among the animals that we could spot during the trip. 50% of...More

Out of all the places we went during our recent trip to the Atacama Desert this was by far the most impressive.

This tour was a surprise for me. I had low expectations and was worried about the high altitude and lack of restrooms, but as it turns out, it was an amazing tour, that takes you in the middle of the Andes, to beautiful sights. I...More

Its lots of driving so it can be a long (but very entertaining ) day. Very little walking involved - its more a wander than a walk! I completely recommend it and the places you go to are jaw dropping. Enjoy!
