Take a walk, a jog or a run along this 10 km beach. Nice restaurants and cafe every few hundred meters, bike rentals, and a quiet and wide sidewalk. The walk between the lighthouse and the port in Coquimbo last about an hour and a...More

We tried to go there on a Sunday, it was bumper to bumper with cars, must be a very popular spot for locals. We came back on Monday and it was deserted. Walking along the walk way was nice but I couldn't help but think...More

The street has everything you need for the beach. It is not to busy at this time of year due to school having started. So it is great.

Great sunset view, ideal to walk or bikiing. There are exercise spots along the way and playground areas. There are some restaurants offering sea food and local dishes as empanadas or chorillos.

Because my spouse is disabled, we can't walk the beach. Driving is very frustrating here because there are too many condos and other attractions for the capacity of the one narrow road along the seafront. We braved the traffic to see the sunset, but it...More

I tried to drive along it, and I just could not make it. Walking along it, it is a much nicer experience.
