We circulated around in our SUV, very nice old houses restored. It seems that at night it has a lot of activity with pubs and restaurants.

We toured through this area. Another city with a historic precinct; somewhat shabby, the graffiti in evidence, buildings requiring renovation and/or restoration, buildings painted in the colours of the rainbow. It was listed in order to preserve the unique character of the area.
Now it seems that "undesirables" frequent the area and it is not a safe area to visit. No one suggested a stop.

Our cruise ship docked adjacent to Barrio Ingles - “The English Quarter”, an area which seemed to be full of market-style shops selling everything from local produce, to poor quality tourist souvenirs. There were several street cafes, none of which looked particularly inviting.

Colorful buildings and urban art, it's really well maintained and the manikins are easily confused as real ! Also the unusual rain pop up the colors of this area.

Everything closed in the English neighborhood, nothing to see like it was 10 years ago, it's no longer worth going, and it also looks unsafe at night.
