Great cooking class
Mar 2020
We did a cooking class with 4 persons and it was wonderful. After a small trip to the market we cooked 4 dishes: fish/tofu amok, green mango salad, fried sprinroll and a coconut dessert. The food was delicious. You get a recipe book and a certificate. Excellent value for money (only 10 dollar)!

We have been living in cambodia for 6 months and this is the best fish amock we have ever tasted ! We have thus taken the cooking class which was an amazing experience. The family is so nice, speaks really well English and the food is delicious.
Don't miss out on this great experience and encounter!

Fantastic experience
Feb 2020 • Family
This was booked for us by our tour company and I was slightly ambivalent about going, but am so glad I did. Interesting and informative and the food we cooked was really tasty - probably the best spring rolls I have ever had ( and I have had many!). Definitely inspired to make them at home.

Cooking and eating!!!
Mar 2019 • Friends
We came here last night and had the most beautiful meal, and book to come and learn how to cook it for ourselves. Such great value for only $10 each, we came away with lunch and a great little cook book. Our hosts were so friendly and informative, we collected our ingredients from the local market before coming back to prepare our meal. A great fun morning, can’t recommend Lyly and his lovely family Restaurant and cooking school enough.

Learned to cook amazing foods!!!
Feb 2020 • Friends
110% would recommend this cooking class to everyone I meet. Perfect for families (with older kids), friends, and solo travelers. The family running it are super kind, helpful, and very clear with instructions. We went to a local market and bought some ingredients, and got to see fresh coconut milk being made. We then cooked 4 dishes with those same ingredients - fish amok, mango salad, fried spring rolls, and coconut lyly (desert). ALL FOR 10 DOLLARS. One of the best meals I’ve had in a while. Thank you so much, we had an awesome time!!

AMAZING!
Feb 2020
Easily the best meal I’ve had in Cambodia. I learned so much and ate such amazing food. I recommend this to everyone traveling to Battambang for a few days, the market tour shows you the city and the cooking shows you the flavors of Cambodia. We made 4 courses for only $10?! Overall an amazing and delicious experience!

Excellent and Authentic Cooking course
Feb 2020 • Solo
Excellent and Authentic Cambodian cooking course. This is a great family run business. We made 3 savory dishes and a pudding. The place is well equipped, there is an emphasis on good hygiene. The instructor and in fact the whole family were serious about the cooking and food while being fun, laid back and flexible.

I planned to attend the next morning, but they were able to fit me in with a another couple the same afternoon.

Recipe book was supplied, we were able to choose the dishes we made from the list in the recipe book. You visit the market, buy some ingredients. You then make the food under instruction. When it is cooked you eat your food in the restaurant.

All in all this was an excellent way to spend an afternoon and excellent value for money.

Thank you so much.

You will learn how to cook Cambodian dishes and visit the local market. Both are a great experience and the guys managing it are super sweet and very qualified.

Great class
Jan 2020 • Couples
We came to this cooking class yesterday and had a great time. There were 2 other groups so 6 people altogether so a nice small group. You don’t get to choose what you’re cooking but that’s pretty common for a cooking class! We are vegetarian and savath was really good at switching things to include no meat or fish. We made spring rolls, amok, mango salad and coconut lyly. It was very hands on and really good fun. Savath also told us lots of additional information about Cambodia and their culture, history, current struggles etc which was really interesting. She’s a very interesting lady to talk to. We finished it off by eating what we’d made and getting a little certificate which is a really nice touch and good keepsake. Honestly cannot believe it was only $10. Absolute bargain.

Perfect!
Jan 2020 • Couples
Fantastic class! We booked the day before and did the 9am class. There were just 4 of us in the group which was perfect. First we went to the market with Ly Ly and he gave us lots of useful local information about the produce. Then we learnt 4 dishes including spring rolls and amok. The explanations were really easy to follow and the class was hands-on so we got to practice. Finally we all sat down together to eat what we had made. Everything was delicious. We were even given a certificate and recipe book to take home. Thank you!
