We did the half day livelihood tour with Pum and had a brilliant time! He was especially attentive to making sure our two year old was buckled into his seat with his helmet securely on after each stop. The ride is well designed and the 22km doesn’t feel so long. The bikes are high quality and comfortable. We really enjoyed the ride and the introduction to the various products made in the country side. You can tell Soksabike has a great relationship with the communities they visit - and we appreciate that the profits are shared by the social enterprise.

This was a really great tour, our guide was excellent and provided lots of information, including teaching us a bit of Khmer! The bike ride is very flat and you are never going that long between stops (about 20 minutes each at the start and end but much shorter in between the different stops). Great way to see some of the countryside and Cambodian culture. There were lots of opportunities to taste the different foods, by the end I was full enough I didn't need lunch! Highly recommend taking one of these tours on a visit to Battambang.

This is a high quality experience, giving you fantastic access to local tradespeople, at their place of work (producers of rice paper, dried banana, rice wine, bamboo sticky rice, and a plantation). The guide’s depth of knowledge is really excellent. And not only do they give back to the tradespeople you visit but they also support university students so they can practice their English. Course is completely flat and they cycle at a slow place, you don’t need to be an expert on a bike to do this tour. Can’t recommend enough!

We went on the full day livelihood bike tour in February 2020. Great sturdy bikes and helmet provided. Our guide, (Manay, I think!) gave us clear instructions and looked out for us whilst on the road! So lovely to head out of Battambang to some countryside, quieter villages. Riding at a very steady pace but did get quite hot in the middle of the day (suggest taking a hat and sun cream). Manay offered lots of local, historical and cultural information which was really interesting. We were received by the local communities well which is testament to how Soksabike respect and support local communities. A great day and highly recommend!

We went on the full day tour, after reading about it in the Lonely Planet Guide. We had an unforgettable experience with our amazing guide Mony! He spoke fantastic English and was extremely enthusiastic and knowledgable about the local area, traditions and customs. I feel like Ive learnt so much about what it means to be Cambodian on this bike tour. We were picked up by a Tuk Tuk from our hotel (included in the price) and had a free coffee at the coffee shop next door (best coffee we have had so far in Battambang). The bikes and helmets we were given were in excellent condition and the roads were nice and flat and easy enough to cycle. A water bottle was provided so no need to bring your own. We had a delicious khmai meal at a locals house and had a little afternoon nap in the hammocks provided. At lunchtime we were given fresh coconuts from their own trees to drink, which was refreshing and very tasty. Certainly not an activity to miss if you are in Battambang, its worth every penny you pay!
