We did the half day livelihood tour with Pum and had a brilliant time! He was especially attentive to making sure our two year old was buckled into his seat with his helmet securely on after each stop. The ride is well designed and the 22km doesn’t feel so long. The bikes are high quality and comfortable. We really enjoyed the ride and the introduction to the various products made in the country side. You can tell Soksabike has a great relationship with the communities they visit - and we appreciate that the profits are shared by the social enterprise.

If you're in Battambang and want to know more about the place and its people from the inside, this is the place for you. The bikes are great and in good condition, and the route was tailored to our interests. Mony, with the assistance of Sophara, were two fantastic guides that took us to beautiful and interesting places, told us about customs, culture, and life in Cambodia, and answered to all of our many questions. Mony's communication skills and cross-cultural knowledge are excellent and we learnt a lot from him. Importantly, this is also a social enterprise that has been empowering young students to become competent in English language and leadership skills. Thank you Soksabike!

This was an amazing half day tour to see & engage with local villagers. We went by bike about 6 km into the country side to meet with local people who were making rice paper, producing a multitude of different bananas & fruit, distilling rice wine & whiskey, providing bamboo sticky rice and fermenting fish products. It gave a real insight into local life and is helping to support the local community . A really big thank you to some truly remarkable guides whose focus is on helping others . I would really encourage you to join in this remarkable experience.

We thoroughly enjoyed our day, the bikes were of good quality and our young guide Savith was excellent in terms of how he look after us, safety, road awareness and just a lovely person. We enjoyed the visits to the rice pancake house, rice wine distillery and the lady who made dried banana crisps.
My only gripe was that in the description we were due to have lunch “with a family”. This was not the case at all, it was set up like a restaurant and basically a lady came out and served us lunch - that was it. We were expecting an experience in someone’s home, sitting down with a family and I had taken gifts with this expectation. Perhaps they need to reword the description of the day.
All other communications with the office were prompt and helpful.

This is a great bike tour. You truly get to experience local families making foods while touring the city and country on a bike.
We had a variety of ages doing the trip; from 53 to 76. We had a wide variety of physical conditions as well from not been on a bike in 10 years to fitness enthusiast.
They made it work for everyone.

If you really want to see Cambodia try this out. You cycle out of the city quickly on nearly new bikes and really experience the back villages and meet some families producing various products like rice paper fruit and rice wine. Killing fields was humbling but great to ride the back lanes and meet locals. Sophal was and excellent guide and very knowledgeable. Thanks for a great time

We did a full day tour (around 30-40km) and it was amazing. Despite being in Cambodia for a year we still learnt a lot. The guide was so nice and his English level was impressive. The tour is easy, the road choice are great (not to many big roads, a lot of off-road) and the bike quality is really good.
To finish, a really big plus is that part of the money paid is distributed to local communities and guides are students from Battambang.

To sum it up, great way to discover Battambang and around, great introduction to local lifestyle, great way to spend a day there.

P.S: The full day trip does not take the whole day and you still can do other activities such as bat cave etc...the same day.

Me bike a day trip riding neonatology Battenbang with family, parents and son of 9.
We have cycled 42 km, seen rice wine making, rice paper for spring roll making. And stop along the way whenever you want. Delicious lunch at local people with a fruit orchard. Food could be adapted to vegetarian.
Top day. Upon returning a good lunchtime downpour.

We're thrilled to hear that you had a fantastic family adventure exploring Battambang by bike! It's wonderful that you were able to cover 42km together, visiting the rice wine and rice paper factories, and enjoying the freedom to stop and explore at your own pace. We're delighted that you enjoyed the delicious lunch with a local family and that Savith was able to accommodate your dietary needs. Even the afternoon rain couldn't dampen your spirits – that's the sign of a truly memorable experience! Thank you for choosing Soksabike and sharing your positive experience. It means a lot to our young guides and the communities we collaborate with. Warmly, The Soksabike Team

What a great tour with Money. We did the half day tour great routes and just enough stops to keep us from getting too hot or hungry. Money was a terrific tour guide with good English skills. Even convinced me to eat some of the local delicacies. We brought our bikes but it looked like they had decent newer mountain bikes that appears to be in good service.

We have had a really fun experience with Soksabike. The MTBs where good quality, sizing and well maintained. Our guide, Dara, is really friendly and teached us some words of the Khmer language. He also explained a lot about the local culture. The tour followed a scenic route. The stops at the local families where really interesting and also we got to try a lot of tasty food!
