Wonderful decorated pagoda full of devotees paying homage to Buddha. There are 3 statues covered with gold leaf, which only men are allowed to approach and add to. Must see.

We landed by boat at the Pagoda which was a fantastic way to approach it. Inside men were adding gold leaf to 5 unrecognisable Buddhas. They have had gold leaf added for years and now are unrecognisable as Buddhas more as blobs.

I gave it a good rating as I liked the 5 Buddha blobs as they are weird but also when we were there was a little market outside.

So sorry to say, but it was nothing spectacular. But this is in a country with hundreds and hundreds of gorgeous pagodas. The competition is fierce. I could give it a miss.
