Impressive architecture and sculptures. Statues of riders on horses standing on two legs are very rare.

it can be found on an island crossing the river Yandra-the brothers Asen left their mark in the regional history and this is a great way to commemorate them-the sword is huge- great place for pictures especially on a sunny day!

You can see this monument from every point in Veliko T but to really appreciate it you need to get up close. Then you can really see how large and impressive the monument is.

When you walk through the city you always see this monument. It is symbolical for the Bulgarians and is a real peace of art. Take the time to go and explore it

We were on a local tour and could not actually go to the monument in the amount of time that we had. But could clearly see it and zoom in to see how nice it was.

I’m sorry I’ve never used public transport in Bulgaria .. we went to Vt. by car. In my opinion bus would be better. Regards
