We did the half day trip to Shipka and Buzludzha and also the off road safari to Arbanasi with Damien. This was one of the highlight of our time in Bulgaria! Damien is very passionate about his work and gave us a lot of information on the history of Bulgaria. We had a lot of fun and would definitely recommended people to join the tour when they are in Veliko Tarnovo.

Interesting off-road ride and amazing views over Veliko Tărnovo and Arbanasi from Damian's Soviet jeep!
See the sites from another, higher, vantage point in the company of a good English-speaking local guide who offers plenty of possibilities to make the perfect shots. Highly recommended!

Our four year-old begged us to go on a tour with HillView. We were so glad we did. We got to see a bunch of cool views and hear a bit about the story of Veliko Tărnovo. Damien was a great guide and a very safe driver. Our 10 month-old had a great time too. This tour is a great option for folks who can’t hike but like adventure.

Quite challenging, good fun, you get thrown around a lot. The average speed is quite low due to the nature of the tracks you are driving on. Nice people.

I recently embarked on a tour to the Buzludzha Monument in Veliko Tarnovo, and it was an experience beyond compare. The journey began with a scenic drive through the picturesque Bulgarian countryside, setting the tone for what was to come. We enjoyed the cultural heritage of the site and the hospitality of the guide. We are extremely thankful for all the help and support!

The best fun experience for miles, complemented by beautiful viewpoints and nature.
A massive thank you to the Hillview VT team for the amazing, fun and exhilarating experience. You made an entire football team and parents extremely happy and buzzing with excitement. A special thank you for your help with advance planning, your flexibility, professionalism and effort to accommodate our large group with a last minute change of circumstances and some weather challenges thrown in too. Keep up the good work as we will definitely be coming back for more.
