Beautiful ancient town. Plenty of restaurants and shops whilst still retaining the ancient feel. Views of the sea are stunning. Little cobbled streets lead off each other into another. Would highly recommend a visit.

We took a one-day trip from Burgas (35kms) and visited this nice town, which is on the UNESCO World Heritage list. I agree, because it’s a picturesque town located on an island. It’s about 850m long and 350m wide. The Old Town consists of 100 traditional stone and wooden houses. They were built in 18-19th century. We were strolling in the narrow, cobbled streets and saw nice buildings, many shops and cafes. It’s a must-see site in Bulgaria.

This place is stunning! Travelled with my partner and our 3yo daughter. We were staying in Sunny Beach which was perfect for my daughter, but this area Is much nicer for adults who want a more peaceful trip. We had lovely food, people friendly, some lovely shops and local artwork selling in the streets. Easy to get to from sunny beach by taxi only 30lev. Highly recommend at least a day trip here for anyone staying in Sunny Beach. We didn't have a tour but if we were visiting as a couple we would. So much history in this small area, very interesting

We stopped in this charming old town on our way from Varna to Burgas. Nesebar is a really nice town with lots of shops and cafes. And I noticed that toilets (toilets) are also very important in this town, as there were many signs indicating this.

Worth a visit. It's clean and pleasant with places of interest all within a small peninsular. Plenty of little cafe bars or restaurants to chose from and some shaded quaint streets to explore. In my humble opinion, it's spoiled a bit by some of the shops but otherwise interesting stone/wooden upper buildings and views.

Nessebar oli väga ilus oma ehtsa arhitektuuri poolest ning tänavad olid väga lahedad oma kivisillutisega. Mulle meeldis, et olid mõned pingid, kus sai istuda ja lihtsalt puhata. Selliseid võiks rohkem olla. Vaade merele oli uskumatult ilus. Minu jaoks oli seal natuke liiga palju poekesi ja restorane, mis varjutasid selle linna ilu. Oleksin oodanud sealt rohkem autentset kaupa, kuid palju oli turisti pudi-padi, mida leidus ka Sunny Beachil. Nad võiks müüa natuke rohkem sellele kohale omast käsitööd.

One can walk around the well-preserved ancient city walls, which date back to the Roman and Byzantine periods. 2. Check the Church of Saint Sophia, aka the Old Metropolitan Church, it’s one of the most significant remnants of the early Christian era. 3. Look at the Church of Christ Pantocrator: This 14th-century church is notable for its stunning architecture and is now an art gallery. 4. Archaeological Museum on the right side to the town entrance-learn about Nessebar's history from ancient times through the Middle Ages. 5. Stroll Along the Cobbled Streets-enjoy the picturesque old houses, traditional wooden architecture, and the charming atmosphere. 6. Relax and get some tan at the Sunny Beach: located nearby, it's perfect for a day of sunbathing and swimming. 7. Ethnographic Museum: located in a traditional house, it offers insights into the daily life and traditions of Nessebar's past inhabitants. 8. Enjoy local cuisine-try fresh seafood and traditional Bulgarian dishes at one of the many restaurants with sea views. 9. Take a boat tour-see the town from a different angle and enjoy the beautiful coastline. 10. Souvenir's hunting-browse local crafts, artworks, and other unique items in the many small shops throughout the old town. 11. Experience the Nightlife-enjoy the bars and cafes that come alive in the evening with music and a lively atmosphere.

We really enjoyed Nessebar old town. Ideal for a walk as the weather cools down during late afternoon/early evening. Some lovely places to eat , we highly recommend Robinsons- not expensive, great food with a great sea view. Some great shops too for sovereigns.

Lovely area, lots of history in the relics of buildings. Narrow streets that offer some shade but fab photos. Lots of little shops and bars. Friendly locals. Costs 30 lev in a taxi from Sunny Beach each way.
