A nice place to visit but some wines are a bit expensive and you cannot buy everything you like since they don’t have small sizes for travelers, only regular bottles and others are only for display. Friendly staff and tasty wine with some strange ones!
To start with you should know that you have to pay two entrance fees 6Lev and then 8Lev per person this is because the winery is in the botanic gardens and the area is run by two organisations who obviously cannot work together.
Delicious wines. I myself bought a bottle of sweet fig wine. It is a nice experience and I recommend buying a bottle as a souvenir. It's not very expensive and since they are local products, I think it's worth it.
If you want to have a REAL Bulgarian wine tasting - then you should consider other options, because you will be disappointed.
