The Governor's Palace is a very interesting building to visit, there are lots of things to see and it gives the visitor a real taste of Governmental history in Sergipe going back to 1860. There is one big downside though. Don't expect to be able to look around at your own pace and read the information. The guides take all... More

This is not really a palace, more of a governor's house. It's still worth seeing, as it's free and full of nice things, but it was only built last century, so it's still pretty young.
