We visited the market in the afternoon and ended up buying small gifts for several of our friends: tablecloth, bags, handmade boxes, nuts, shorts, etc. We had a good time, but had to run at the end because they close down at 5pm. People were very friendly.

Wanna buy some gifts for the entire family? Here is the place. Not only you will spend very little, but also you will be taking some of the local culture with you. Moreover, you'll be helping support the local craftsmen.

This place is amazing, so big, prepare yourself to walk a lot!! But don't go on Sundays during the low season because not all stores open and also they close pretty early.

Location with public and ample parking nearby. When visiting this market, we can visit the Thales Ferraz market and Maria Virgínia Leite. Market with more craft items, embroidery, hammocks and some restaurants. It is the oldest and has a tower with a clock in its center.

Two markets, one for crafts and the other for food, seafood, spices and others....One next to the other. Fruits that are difficult to find in my city and others don't even have. It is worth it....

Want to buy sandals, hats and regional items, this is the place.
Look calmly, enjoy the conversation of the vendors, who are very friendly. Prices are fair.

Interesting place where you can buy local crafts, clothes, and eat at a very fair price. The building is also interesting. I find it a super important place to get to know a bit of the culture of Aracajú.

To get to know the very typical things of Aracaju. Fruit, food, crafts, souvenirs.. worth the tour. It is in the center of the city, because the space could be more explored, have more variety.. but it was worth seeing.

The Aracaju Municipal Market is a complex made up of three spaces: Antônio Franco, Thales Ferraz and Virgínia Leite Markets! The market is very large, with a part where you can find a variety of handicrafts (pottery/clay is worth highlighting), fruits, vegetables, cheeses, sweets and a large flower sales area. There are also several popular restaurants in the market that serve the wonderful P.F. . I chose one of these restaurants and ordered a beer and a shrimp broth. I want to say that the best appetizer on the market is the caldinho (sururu, shrimp, beans and lambreta).
