There are few bars on the area that avoid people that is looking more than a beach. Great place for small kids, waves are really small that allow the small ones enjoy the sea. The local association does a great job in keeping even without any support of the city authorities.

It's the perfect beach to spend a day and relax. Calm water! You can swim a lot. There's just a few shadows, you should bring an umbrella. There's an attraction for R$20 that brings you to another near beach for a little time. There's also a nature walking place that I didn't have been but people talk very well about it. Come here, it's worthy!

Fun at the beach guaranteed for the whole family! You can relax on the sand, swim on the clear water, go for a hike in the woods, have a snack and drink at the food stand, body boarding, even surfing at times - if you walk towards Maranduba! People are very nice, especially the regulars. If you walk early in the morning you can find a local fisherman with a fresh catch to bring home for dinner. You can even do some shopping during busy times and weekends :)

Perfect fluffy sand. Nice gradual incline to the water (not too steep for little kids). Good enough waves for body boarding. So clean. The water is so clear. Down the beach there are some kiosks (quiosques) but we like to stay where it is a bit quieter.
