The boats to Anchieta Island depart from here. Its waters are calm and clear on most days. The sand is fine and tightly packed, very even ground. There are kiosks where you can make a reservation for the boa rides, rent paddleboards and kayaks. Around the boat departure time there are people selling beachwares such as towels and hats. Once the tourists are gone, so are they; the only ones remaining are the ice cream vendors. There are restaurants, snack bars, and hotels with restaurants nearby, where you can park and access the washrooms if you are a guest or client. No public washrooms, showers, stretchers. This beach is best enjoyed if you are staying nearby. Because of that, it's much quieter than the more famous beaches downtown.

Quiosques in this beach does nor provide toilettes. So, there is no recommended for a day trip. The access is very bad. Only go there if you stay in a small hotel (pousada) nearby.

As my title states, this beach is a little piece of heaven. If you turn away from the beach, it seems as if you're in the middle of a jungle, but turn around and find the calmest waters with the perfect temperature. This is the beach you go to if you want to just sit back and relax. We took our 1.5 year old daughter with us and it was perfect. There are few waves on this beach and it makes for watching children a breeze. It is located a 15 minute's drive away from Ubatuba if you want to have a large selection of restaurants and bars, but everything you need is actually within walking distance. If I had my choice, I wouldn't ever leave this beach.

It is a calm and blue bay, perfect for stand-up, kayaking, dive, fishing and sail sports. During the high season it is not as crowded as other beaches around so you can have your relaxing time there. Out of the season it is absolutely calm and perfec to relax and enjoy sunny days. It is possible to rent a stand-up board or kayak and explore the bay by yourself with possibility to see dolphins jumping around. From the beach departs trails to small and isolated beaches around also have boat service to transport passengers to the Anchieta island and other beaches with non walking acces. The structure is basic but eficent, there are some bars and restaurants on the beach and also on the main road, hotels and pousadas placed on the north side.
