Beautiful beach, calm and good for bathing
Nov 2020 • Couples
The beach is beautiful, and is médium sized so you can stay near the quiosques to have meals or you can stay in a place less crowded to enjoy the beach.
You can also walk to the beach aside(Portugues).
Its easy to reach , you walk about 3 min, with no difficulties and get there.
We would come back.

Beautiful beach however the waves where too strong for my land legs.
Jan 2018
I learned a new lesson about the ocean. If there are surfers present the waves are probably a bit to strong for me. I was tossed around like rag doll on the ocean floor. There was however great food to be found at the food kiosk on the beach. There is a calmer section to the waves near the rain forest, great for wading!

Wild
Feb 2018 • Friends
For us a bit further than itambuca but so different. This beach has a more difficult access, not many parking spaces but the beach is wild and beautiful, in an arc shape. Waves were strong when we visited.

Place is beautiful, beach is beautiful, sea is beautiful
There are some services and you can relax in the beach eating some fingerfood, drinking a fresh beer and relaxing just looking the sea in the shadow of the tree.
There are also some more energetic activities such as surfing, kayaking, etc. and also snorkeling, in the south part of the beach give you lot of emotions
Wonderful place, calm and relaxing far from the messy area

It's possible to commingle feelings and places quite well sometimes. This beach is the sort of place that makes the process easy. Especially if you've just arrived from Sao Paulo, and you still have the horns honking in your eyes, the exhaust fumes lingering in your nostrils. Praia Felix doesn't even feel like it's on the same planet. Negotiate the (probably intentionally) crummy road, find a place to park, walk through the trees a short distance...and you emerge on to a golden sand beach, with easy shade, rolling waves, and, usually, a minimum of other people. It amazes me that people will go to much more crowded beaches only a few kilometres away, when they could have this.

The beach is backstopped by a fresh-water lagoon, worth exploring. At the south end, a big rock formation creates tide pools. Two kiosks on the beach sell snacks, beer, and caipirinhas (Don't know what those are yet? Find out.). The water itself: green, clean, warm-tea temperature. A gentle slope means it's not too challenging, but hang on to your kids.

If you're in the mood to relax, don't bother going anywhere else. Just spend the day. Maybe the next day too, There's not too much they don't have there that you'll need. Relax, gringo.

Not crowded. Low surf on one end for easy bathing. Nice for beach walk. Parking available. Bit of a walk to the beach.
