I loved this neighbourhood in Sau Paulo. There are many nice restaurants and bars/hang out places here but also very homy with small bakeries, hair dressers, nail salons etc. The vibe here is good and I felt compared to some other places in Sao Paulo very safe here.

Shopping Iguatemi and Eldorado, Oscar Freire street to find whatever you wish to buy and also top restaurants to go. But kip in mind it's an expensive area. Upper middle class and the very rich people live and work in that neighborhood .

This area is so unexpected because it's hidden away from Av Paulista and would be easy to miss. It is punctuated with little boutique stores, expensive brands and lots of great little bars and restaurants. The atmosphere is relaxed and it's easy just to get lost in the district.

The Jardim is where would obviously stay while in Sao Paulo. It is a counter/balance to the grey austerity and blandness of the rest if the city. MUCH SAFER at night to walk around a little. Fine dinning, bars, night clubs.

Jardins is a trendy upper class neighborhood in Sao Paulo where you can find the best restaurants and shops (at Alameda Lorena and Alameda Oscar Freire). In this area you also find the best hotels in Sao Paulo (Fasano Hotel, Emiliano Hotel, etc). Its very safe to walk around in this area, you can get there by Uber / Taxi... More

Jardins is full of restaurants and trendy shops. There are always people around, as well as taxis at taxi stands. It is a nice part of town to walk around in, but be warned that the streets slope down hill at a somewhat steep grade from Agenda Paulista, which runs along the top of a ridge.

This area is quite busy with many pedestrians I think at all hours of the day. We usually started our day around 9am-10am. We were walking distance to the subway and to a main street, Paulista. We strolled along this street several times. Our first venture out was to the Shopping Cidade Sao Paolo. If you are staying in this... More

Staying in Jardins

Neighborhood Profile
Jardins
Located just below important Paulista Avenue, Jardins is the junction of four smaller neighborhoods: Jardim Paulista, Jardim América, Jardim Europa and Jardim Paulistano. It is an upper-class area, offering a variety of things to do, including shopping, museums and parks. The neighborhood is well known for “Oscar Freire”– the most luxurious street in the city, packed with high-end boutiques. In Jardins you will also find a trendy museum, São Paulo Museum of Image and Sound (MIS), which people often line up for hours to visit. If green space is what you're after, take time to relax at Trianon Park, a refuge in the heart of Paulista Avenue.
