Jardins is full of restaurants and trendy shops. There are always people around, as well as taxis at taxi stands. It is a nice part of town to walk around in, but be warned that the streets slope down hill at a somewhat steep grade from Agenda Paulista, which runs along the top of a ridge.

In my opinion, this is the best neighborhood of São Paulo. There are the best stores, restaurants, coffee places and bars.

This area is quite busy with many pedestrians I think at all hours of the day. We usually started our day around 9am-10am. We were walking distance to the subway and to a main street, Paulista. We strolled along this street several times. Our first venture out was to the Shopping Cidade Sao Paolo. If you are staying in this... More

Very accessible location, one can find all that you could need shopping wise. Good restaurants near by. Safety is not a concern.

Jardins is a nice neighbourhood in São Paulo, whit many nice shops, some restaurants and streets that are interesting points to visit like Av. Paulista, Rua Oscar Freire, Av. Augusta. Is relative easy to walk around and safe to walk, mainly in Paulista.

So much fun to explore this area - day or night. Sao Paulo is full of photographers and we fitted right in with our cameras and tripods and everyone is very respectful, avoiding shots etc. Everywhere you go there is dancing and singing happening and lots of late night cafes spilling out on the streets. Definitely worth a chilled out... More

Staying in Jardins

Neighborhood Profile
Jardins
Located just below important Paulista Avenue, Jardins is the junction of four smaller neighborhoods: Jardim Paulista, Jardim América, Jardim Europa and Jardim Paulistano. It is an upper-class area, offering a variety of things to do, including shopping, museums and parks. The neighborhood is well known for “Oscar Freire”– the most luxurious street in the city, packed with high-end boutiques. In Jardins you will also find a trendy museum, São Paulo Museum of Image and Sound (MIS), which people often line up for hours to visit. If green space is what you're after, take time to relax at Trianon Park, a refuge in the heart of Paulista Avenue.
