Very traditional church of the city. Big weddings take place there. Beautiful paintings and a big church.

Many of my friends married here or baptised their kids, but I had never been before. It is wonderful and the ceiling is unforgettable! Nice paintings, lots of history and very well conserved. Don´t forget to visit the bathrooms, they are amazing!

Excellent and majestic building but I was strongly advised that one needs to be extremely careful when walking around especially taking pictures using flashy smart phones or cameras. Be watchful all the time.

Really colorful and stunning interior. Also in one of Sao Paulo's more beautiful residential neighborhoods.

The Our Lady of Brazil Church is indeed a very beautiful church. With its typical Portuguese architecture, this church is where all the couples (even from other parts of Brazil) want to get married in Sao Paulo. They have a very, very long waiting list. Highly recommended!

One of the most beautiful churches I have seen. Small but very ornate. Be careful of Saturday's since there will always be wedding going on.

Unavoidable if you like sacred art. Rococo, nice azulejos, in a wonderful spot in the city, should go there when it is still daylight

Never gave I seen a more beautiful and moving church in my life. Multiple ceiling paintings cover the ceiling and the blue painting over the alter is unbelievable. If visiting São Paulo, this is a must see experience.

Staying in Jardins

Neighborhood Profile
Jardins
Located just below important Paulista Avenue, Jardins is the junction of four smaller neighborhoods: Jardim Paulista, Jardim América, Jardim Europa and Jardim Paulistano. It is an upper-class area, offering a variety of things to do, including shopping, museums and parks. The neighborhood is well known for “Oscar Freire”– the most luxurious street in the city, packed with high-end boutiques. In Jardins you will also find a trendy museum, São Paulo Museum of Image and Sound (MIS), which people often line up for hours to visit. If green space is what you're after, take time to relax at Trianon Park, a refuge in the heart of Paulista Avenue.
