Neighborhood: Pinheiros
Exploring Pinheiros, a neighborhood known for cozy restaurants and cafes, you will notice a youthful energy. Several cultural centers and institutes surround the area and even its main church, Calvário, hosts a traditional Brazilian “Festa Junina” - a celebration with traditional music, dance, and food during the months of June and July. On the weekends, residents gather at Benedito Calixto Square, a loud and crowded area where people enjoy live music drinks alongside the antiquities fair.

An exceptional photogpraphic exhibition of the City of Jerusalém, its beauty
its history seen through the eyes of Viviana Tagar who delved into the depth
of this historic and pluralistic city, with a discerning eye and sensitivity, a city that
is the home of three major religions, Christianity, Judaism and Moslem, this exhibition
shows its harmony, its architecture its past present and future. A city of and for the world to be visited and enjoyed .

As a public space, interesting to check modern architecture from Paulo Mendes da Rocha.
The building needs some maintenance, as some open areas are degraded.

I ventured here today but not really sure what I can say except I was underwhelmed by the inside and outside pieces. Inside had the whole floor dedicated to 'sound', slightly unenthusiastic exhibition. Not sure if it's because of the Christmas holiday's or if this is the usual types of exhibits. The guy who was working there was helpful and friendly.

This museum was a real surprise – a good one – starting with its site and architecture and on through to its programing. Definitely worth a stop.
