The wonderful show Les Miserable has come over here for a season. The theatre is very nice. Used to be a cinema and has now been converted to a theatre. The outside of the building is lovely and original. The area may be a little "worn" but it's safe and worth the effort to see a show.

Beautiful theater in São Paulo. Where most Broadway plays are staged. It's a very good theater, good sound and views.

The architecture is amazing! This is an excellent place to visit (even if you don't speak Portuguese and won't stay for the play). Some great plays were presented there, like The Lion King and Wicked.

Went to see wiked last weekend and it was just great the set up and sceneries are awesome, great sound and quality. Only but are the space between seats that are a bit small for tall people.

Thank Victor S

Staying in Bela Vista

Neighborhood Profile
Bela Vista
Known for its Italian cantinas, Bela Vista is the place to go for great pasta. Also called “Bixiga”, the area is an important cultural part of the city, with the bohemian and the religious costumes of its inhabitants on full display. In August, the large Nossa Senhora Achiropita party fills the streets with a variety of Italian food and music. You can experience the liveliness of the neighborhood walking through the antiquities fair at Dom Orione Square or visiting the “Brazilian Caminito”, a version of the Argentinian street complete with colorful buildings. Bela Vista is also home to the traditional samba school “Vai-Vai”. Buy a ticket to a rehearsal and get a taste of what Carnival is like.
