Who likes places to enjoy a view, this is one of the best places in SP. This is the tallest point in the city and you can see the neighborhood around so far...To go to the highest place of the park you need go up by a long stair (I didn't count how many steps). Unfortunately I didn't go to the other areas of the park, but have a trial to go up by foot (about 2 km).

Probably slightly out of the way for the average traveller but as we were staying in Perus it was not too far away. Excellent views of the city looking southward. Recommend bringing binoculars and be aware there are over 200 quite steep stairs ( i counted them!).

It’s about a 40 minute drive from the city and the last 11 km section of the road is a narrow, steep winding road with quite a lot of cyclists and walkers so just be careful driving up here. There’s no entry fee. We managed to park on the side of the road but it was very busy with parked cars. There are toilet facilities though not the best and you can buy fresh coconut water. There are quite a few steep steps to get to the top but the views over São Paulo are stunning. I believe this is the highest point. They have the aerial centre there too. There are a couple of other viewpoints on the way down too and we saw the cutest little monkeys in the forest with striped tails.

Nice surroundings. Quite tough trails. Very very big negative is that you cannot buy water or soft drinks anywhere. As it is warm and tough I do not recommend a visit.

This Park shows how huge Sao Paulo is. Through a trail of 2 hours you can reach its peak and admire the concrete jungle!

We drove to the top of the peak on a Sunday late morning. Lots of people were riding their bikes or walking up the winding road. We found a spot to park quite close although it was quite busy for parking. Was a nice was to spend the morning seeing the view, I haven't seen the view from the centre of the city so I cant say how it would compare but was nice to be in a green environment. We didn't explore any other paths or walking tracks but there was a walking track at the bottom of the hill where you enter the park.
