The emerald heart of an oftentimes gray city, São Paulo's Parque do Ibirapuera offers respite from the urban madness among cool, shady trees and mentally-stimulating structures. Running trails, bike paths, and yoga and capoeira sessions let locals and visitors alike keep fit, while a clutch of museums and galleries — such as the museums of Modern and Contemporary Art, all designed by master Brazilian architect Oscar Niemeyer — gives the brain a good workout. The impressive Museu Afro Brasil and fiery Auditório Ibirapuera are two of the park's treasures.

This is a wonderfull place for all kinds of people and ages. Only one visit is not enough to get to know all sorts of possibilities the park offers. Among others, biking, walking, jogging, skating, etc.

Great place for a picnic or to take skaters. The lake is awesome. They sometimes do shows at night with dancing water jets.

Ibirapuera is a great place to hang out, but it can be too crowded. One can run, cycle, go rollerskating or simply watch people while wondering around. I love the museums, so check for exhibits. It is difficult to park on weekends and eating at MAM, though good, can be quite expensive...

This is a beautiful park, located right in the middle of the city. One could say that Ibirapuera is to São Paulo what the Central Park is to NYC. Full of people practicing sport, walking around or playing with their kids on the weekend and during the week. If you are visiting SP, make sure you reserve at least a... More

Clean, organize and safe. With attractions like museums, playgrounds and sky observatory, this place worth the visit. My suggestion, go early in the morning, less crowdy. You can lunch in MAM ( Museum of Modern Art).

The park offers a big open green space in the heart of São Paulo. Runners, weekend bikers, soccer, basketball and other sports can be found.

Splendid placê to visit in Sao Paulo. You can just walk or use your bike. Join your family, including pets, during all day. You can also attend Concerts in the weekend. Enjoy it.

Inner city 🌃 "green lung" area for lingering, leisure, strolling 🚶 or you can have a picnic at any time. Wide ranged park area. Street art and open air concerts or contemporary art and permanent exhibitions take place. Urban lifestyle huge crowd flushing through the park on weekends.
