The emerald heart of an oftentimes gray city, São Paulo's Parque do Ibirapuera offers respite from the urban madness among cool, shady trees and mentally-stimulating structures. Running trails, bike paths, and yoga and capoeira sessions let locals and visitors alike keep fit, while a clutch of museums and galleries — such as the museums of Modern and Contemporary Art, all designed by master Brazilian architect Oscar Niemeyer — gives the brain a good workout. The impressive Museu Afro Brasil and fiery Auditório Ibirapuera are two of the park's treasures.

I have visited Ibiraquera park several times over the last several years, almost exclusively on a Saturday or Sunday. The layout of the park with its multiple gates and entrances makes it super easy to get into and out of with out too much stress. I have found that it's best to get a taxi or an Uber to arrive... Is where each Paulista goes to exercise once in their lives. If you want to feel greener and calmer in SP you should go here. You can exercise, see lots of people and still sit by the water and relax. Is funny to sit, have a coconut water and see other people running and passing by, always some weirdos -... More

It's a great place to exercise whether you rent a bicycle at the entrance, jog or workout on the equipment they have throughout the park. You can sit and watch the swans in the pond, walk your dog or sit down for a light lunch at the snack bars. It's also a great place to grab fresh coconut water after... More

That park is not good to go on the weekends because is too crowded, but on the work days is a lovely place to go to run, to ride bicycle or just to relax. I love it.

It's the nicest park in São Paulo! If you like going for a run or for a walk, or even for some cultural activities Ibirapuera park is a must go. It's nice and less crowded during the week: thus a morning run in the park is amazing way to start a your day!

This park is wonderful...beautifully maintained and very safe. It has many paved trails for exploring, and offers a great dirt running track around the perimeter. I recommend this as a fun place to visit. Many families were out enjoying its beauty. Please see this!

The park is about two blocks away from the Unique Hotel. The best way to exercise, whether you a runner, cyclist or ball player, there is something for everyone here. The course is flat and if you enjoy off road running, the mini off-road course is perfect. I took the opportunity to also try and improve my monkey bars and... More
